Dealerships? BAHAHAHA! Plague! Craigslist and Autotrader is where I shop for cars. Of course, I don’t buy new cars either.
That race car is sure glad that SUV didn’t have a deer launcher bumper on it. (Though, that little SUV wouldn’t be able to hold up much of a deer launcher.)
HOA: We don’t like your thing. Move it.
Homeowner/attorney: You have no legal standing. Piss off.
HOA: Move it or we’ll taunt you a second time-ah.
Literally everyone? Except racists and sexists? So not literally everyone. Hence the reason to help change the culture and the uphill battle that it is because of the centuries of BS thinking. As for my response about people hiring people that “look” like themselves, go read it again. It stated those that are…
Who said I was defending sexism in hiring? I said hire the best available. Who cares what race, sex, creed, caste, class, breed, species they are? When you learn to discard your bleeding heart bait posting, please come back and try again.
I see “How to Chevy” memes in Ford and Dodge/Ram threads in the near/current future.
Which is kind of the point. You want someone that does the job and can interact with others doing the job without major friction. The “best” may not be the most technically able, but the one that is able while being the most personable in the position. Best has a LOT of different facets to it.
Well... some people don’t have an issue with stereotypes... so the possibility is already out there... the uphill battle is the prevailing culture and changing it. Also, not everyone wants one thing. Blanket statements are severely self limiting and not conducive to dialog.
True. Getting people to look past stereotypes and see the truth of any matter is definitely a uphill battle.
Best, meaning from the stack of applications presented. Whether that is just mediocre in the grand scheme of things or not is beside the point.
Steer by wire. I require all vehicles to have a complete mechanical connection... whether hydraulic boost or electric boost or just gear reduction (not boosted). I don’t want to lose steering control if the battery dies.
Apparently the asshat that dislikes women in car media is confused.
I prefer “the best person for the job” hiring. Be that person of color or bleached, male, female, indifferent. If they have the skill and demeanor for the job, they should get it. Screw the quotas. If that ends up with nothing but women in one company and men in another... so be it. Dump the stereotypes and quotas and…

Just watching the G meter... dang near 2 G’s in the corners... that’s “tight”
2 months from now, craigslist be like “freshly detailed - like new - mint - low miles”
My wife had an 89 Legend auto with some 5-down AC (sunroof - AC didn’t work) and that v6 would GIT! 285K miles when we traded it because Acura parts cost WAY too much and it was cheaper to get another car with working AC and power steering than to fix that pile. But the drivetrain was still good and stout. It didn’t…
Sketchy... most likely. Effective... definitely.
