Try getting front wheel bearings for an early 80s LTD (not LTD II), Lincoln Continental, or Marquis (the full size cars). Even if they select the correct lines in the computer, the parts are listed wrong. You have to tell them a late 80s Town Car, Grand Marquis, or Crown Victoria to get the right parts. The Fox body

This is why I like my 93 Crown Victoria and 88 Grand Marquis. Old... reliable... simple (for the most part)... road tank (especially the 88... beater gonna beat).

This is so bad, I almost want to stop watching Roadkill...

...almost.

Cheap power is the new cool in the young idiot market. No longer is fast and furious the thing with Civics and Lancers, it’s all about the V8 and burning as much rubber as possible... because drift car yo!

That’s my theory and I’m sticking to it.

“Channing Tatum will play me, and Vin Diesel will play Jason Torchinsky.”

Beater gonna beat

*Checks date*
Nope. Not April first.
*Checks site*
Yup, Jalopnik.

Yeah... peoples are weird.
*I say as I drive a beat up 88 Grand Marquis with truck shocks and cargo springs.*

5th Gear: This is why I can’t buy new things. I need to keep my eyes on the road while I change tracks on the stereo. I need my physical buttons. I refuse to own any vehicle that uses touchscreens for all that stuff. Get thee behind me Satan!

My cars are immune. Old cars without even ABS, much less drive by wire. No problems here.

I have 2 beaters... one is still pretty much stock while the other is a bit of a project car. I still have yet for both of them to be down at once. Both paid off from initial purchase. Not having a car payment allows me to afford the maintenance/repairs AND put a LOT of gas through these “no so efficient” cars.

This. I have 3 cars. The 2 nice ones are in the 2-car garage. The beater is outside... but still in my driveway. I won’t even park my beater on the street.

I’ll take a wagon, front engine, version.

Why people don’t say “I hope you never do” as a response to “I’ve not crashed”, I’ll never know. Maybe it’s because people are jerks. Maybe that’s why I generally avoid John Q Public.

My dad went head on against a Winnebago on his Kawasaki 550 cruiser (don’t remember the actual model... it was 1983 and I wasn’t in school yet) at a blind curve on an east Texas country back road. Screwed that bike up completely (forks were pushed back into the engine) and almost ended my dad. Did screw him up a bit

“Can you beat the computer?”
Real life gaming at track day.

Neutral: Fleased a truck. Liked the truck. Could have had a used truck for the same money spent on that lease... and after 2 years, returned the truck. Still don’t have a truck 8 years later and still want a truck. So I have a truck bed trailer I pull with my old iron V8 land yacht.

Time to use up some gas and get those parts moving and work the rest of the kinks out... if any are left. Then enjoy for the rest of the year.
My thinking is that maybe... just maybe... the car hasn’t been driven ENOUGH and because of that, things are getting stuck. Time to go places!

Construction equipment in the background and lots of gravel. Yeah. It’s a work zone. The question is whether it’s active or not.

I’m an engineer (though not in the auto industry) and I’ve worked on Hondas and Acuras (though not in a professional capacity). Does that mean I’m also a Honda Engineer?

My car can tow more... but then my car is a RWD V8 from the Reagan era.
