Tbf this is the first CRPG that a lot of people are playing. I’m guessing the majority of players have no idea what Original Sin even is.

Why is this a problem? If you want to only play the game with your friends, drop in drop out isnt going to prevent that

It’s a single player RPG, and like the headline says it’s been 6 months after release with several high profile games that have launched in the interim and soaked up the limelight.

I remember when blogs (including Kotaku, I believe) used to do a thing where at the very bottom of the article they just had the relevant link separated out from the body of the text. Like it would just say “Humble Store” at the end on its own line so you knew it would take you to the relevant site.

I agree.  There are too many separate forms of damage up and damage down that have to be managed, and it just doesn’t really make the combat interesting because its a real time ARPG where you can’t really keep track of everything all at once.

Wish other companies would take note here.  Sometimes what’s fun isn’t necessarily “what’s best”.

I just could not get into Death Stranding. Even this many years later. I can’t get past Hideo’s enormous ego and bloated writing and let myself open this game again. For reference I thought Metal Gear was a fun series and feel like I’m supposed to care about this IP.
