Agreed. Removing story progression was a huge upset for me. I love having continuity in my world, and not having to micromanage everything was a treat in Sims 3. Sure, not everyone loved it, but the option to disable it was there.

Easily the worst entry. Does have neat additions, but lacking basic features previous games had. Painfully obviously built to wring DLC dollars from users. Would not purchase again.

I used the spanish version for years until I desided to paint it and couldnt put the space bar metal part back in and ended up buying a Compaq. I miss that keyboard.
