About 15 years ago I was going through an old childhood desk to clean up for the first time ever and I found a magazine just like the above that had N64 games on it. The prices looked were scattered all over the place (I specifically remember Star Wars Racer costing $56.99 because it was a weird number) and it is

I didn’t get it until your explanation. Rickman worded his insults brilliantly

I’ve never actually seen the original Star Wars, not a massive sci fi fan, but the way he delivered that line .. christ

This isn’t as true as you’d think.

I remember my mom leaving me in the video game section of Sears to do shopping. I played my first hockey game there, my first 3D Sonic, Super Mario 64, discovered Shadow the Hedgehog, and it was the only place I’ve ever played a Dreamcast to this day.

I told my friend about the leak and his response was "ouch looks really rough" with a few other comments to that effect. Kind of a stupid comment, I don't get how anyone doesn't realize what a work in progress is.

lmaoooo love that skit

Oh this is nice. What would be cool is if Konami was able to partner with the Eiyuden Chronicle Devs and maybe delay it so they can work to incorporate more Suikoden- bits without fear of being sued. Make it a spiritual successor!

Smosh? Aren't they those kids who did that Pokémon video? If it is, I'm extremely old, and they must be too now

this was beautiful.

Yup, I asked if there was going to be an obituary of some sorts on here and no response. Very very surprised. Really going to miss his articles and smooth voice on the podcast, but iirc he also has two disabled sons and a lot of medical expenses for his medical treatment over the past 4 years. Can't believe Kotaku

What a really weird statement from CloudFire. It actually reads like someone high up agrees with the content but also has enough sense to recognize the reputational risk.

I really like most of Alan Taylor’s work. I thought Terminator: Genisys was a very good film (with Emilia Clarke horribly miscast) ruined by the marketing spoilers. As a massive Sopranos fan, it pains me to say that The Many Saints of Newark was .. weak, but his directing was very good. And he touched many of the best

I don't really understand this, are they supposed to make an alien? It is weird as shit that they created a digital black rapper and then profit from it, but if the actual voice behind it is black then what's the issue? It's just like a mask at that point

I actually, surprisingly, think Breaking Bad would make a great GTA spinoff. Assuming the development has the Rockstar talents and experience, the engine, etc, the TV show would adapt really well. Good story, memorable characters who give assignments, life and death struggles, it’d be pretty cool

I actually find it a bit disturbing that I’m paying extra for the classics and am not getting many.. really wish I had waited, but at least I only paid for 4 months since my PS+ is expiring.

Well, on the plus side, there's a chance for a new storefront to get some free publicity.. anyone want to start one with me?!

I think it looks pretty good too. I'm excited for it

I’ve tried to game on my phone while commuting in London and it just doesn't do it for me.. I need physical buttons. This might be a very good pickup now, because with save states and ROMs I can pretend my train rides to work are exactly like my bus rides to school were!

I mean, isn’t America today rife for insensitive cultural satire? I feel like with the creative heads leaving the series (and studio) is going to become a kind of soulless and overly meddled. I also still can’t believe they didn’t add any post launch singleplayer DLC - such a slap in the face to longtime fans. Even 3
