Add me to the “not that optimistic” camp. Live action just doesn’t feel right for Zelda. I feel as though there’s no small chance this ends up being Warcraft movie corny. Maybe I’m just being cynical but I’d be much more excited about an animated project in style of Studios Ghibli or Ponoc. If I had my way we’d get

I don’t want to be anti-fun but I can’t imagine this not being bad

Welp, see you over there. That’s likely a wrap for me at Kotaku.  Just subscribed to the second tier.

Hell yeah, I’m surprised you guys are allowed to post this. I gotta clear up some funds for their subscription. Maybe I have some Patreons I’m not paying attention to anymore.

I have sorely missed Highlight Reel since they dumped it a few years ago.

While I agree that there is a lot of questionable treatment of black in this industry, I also find this level of ignoring about all the noise coming from the Marvels production befuddling.

Huh? What do you mean by “from the 10s” because if you mean the original run of MCU movies. Those are basically the only watchable ones. Post Endgame is where they got unrewatchable with a couple exceptions

Yay??

I can’t be the only one who hears “Venture” and digging and thinks

You think The AV Club is a newspaper?

“A thousand!? A thousand is a drop in the bucket!” tweeted one player. “How about you don’t put the players in debt period? Why the hell am I condemned to nothing for the rest of this game’s shakey future because of YOUR mistake when all I did was PAY YOU and put in honest effort because I wanted this game to

“Infini-Brain”, eh? Somehow, I’m not feeling it.

I remember a time when liberals were allowed to laugh at jokes. BECAUSE THEY’RE JOKES. The joke is Lucille’s comment is she thinks the protestors are ruining the party, and Michael misunderstands and thinks she’s mad at her hairdresser. See, it’s a joke.

But it remains an accurate portrait of how many Orange County denizens behave (I could give you regular reports ...).

Pitter patter let’s get at ‘er then, consume all that comedy and bring me your report!

30 Rock’s pilot was really good too. As was Happy Endings’  -- but that show was so good that its pilot was, though hilarious and a good intro to the characters, possibly the weakest episode...

On top of that, it’s a bit of a misdirect. We assume much worse (because she’s an old lady) until we see the protesters. She doesn’t actually care that they are gay (nor does she care all that much about what they are protesting), but she does care that they are stealing focus from their party.

This is what has gotten frustrating about modern conversations around identity politics.
