And the thing is, if you actually look into his resume, it’s more about “being rich” , “in the right place at the right time”, and “being a sociopath” than actually being any sort of Tony Stark genius inventor man.

Lol that was basically my first ever DND character’s (a halfling rogue) backstory. I was so paranoid about him dying that he had four other brothers (who he wrote to frequently so they knew about all of his exploits) where I just swapped vowels out.
“Hmm I don’t trust it”
A very Maron-like arc.
He’s a copro democrat/centrist, mainly because he sees Republicans as rubes and he wouldn’t dare be associated with that.
From what I’ve gathered from people I know who are in the know, it was most likely 100% intentional from Pratt.
More of the former. Thankfully, as I’ve gotten older my players tend to show up on time and ready to play.
Players missing a two hour segment of the game? As a DM, this sounds about right.
Came here to say that. Not once so far in my playthrough have I needed an amount of credits that would require a shortcut. Sure there were things I couldn’t afford, but I usually had enough creds soon enough or quickly had better equipment anyway. Most of my money is spent on ammo, materials, and the occasional ship…
IATSE should be blaming their union leaders for the weak deal they accepted a few years back (much like the writers strikes of the past, it was behind the curve and making up for past slights as opposed to preparing for future ones). In reality, it is the studios trying to maximize profits for their shareholders at…
Thank you for blaming the studios. I see some grumblings from IATSE members blaming the “greedy” writers and actors. We’re in this together and SAG/WGA will be supporting them on the line when their contract is up.
Glad we’re finally waking up. I saw a graph on New York Times today that showed the increase in top 10% of income increase directly disproportionally to the decrease in union memberships (so unions declined, wealth inequality went up). No one is saying CEOs should make as much as the line worker, we’re saying they…
Honestly, probably taste better than Pepsi.
I imagine in a game the size of this or Skyrim, patching out something like this is of very low priority and you only have so many dev hours. Crashes, broken quest lines, broken NPCs/items, game stability and performance; all of those take priority over a misplaced vendor cache.
Pistols + Sneaking + Ballistics
Huh, interesting. My competitive FPS days are behind me but this sounds like one I would’ve loved.
First I’m hearing about this game and everything from the title to the actual game itself looks like it was made by AI. You could’ve told me this game came out last year, or last month, or yesterday and I would believe you.
There’s absolutely some QoL and UI stuff that shouldn’t have made it out of beta. One I’ve been struggling with recently is inventory size. I get not being able to hold massive amounts of stuff but resources should weigh 0. I haven’t really gotten into the meat of crafting but me, my companion, and my ship are all…
Right? There isn’t a single industry on Earth that capitalist aren’t going to attempt to replace with AI/non-human workforce.
