I was being hyperbolic, but physical media is better in the long run in my opinion.

From people I know that have worked with him in various degrees: he’s a huge knob, especially to people he deems “lower” than him. Just an absolute dick to service people, PAs, runners, etc.

Here in LA there’s been a resurgence of the video store. I go to one weekly and Vidiots is about to reopen. I can only hope other places get hip to this and we get back to the good ol days.

My half-baked idea when this news first dropped was to replace him with Loki.

Feels like it should be on Game Pass... and probably will be at some point.

Their insecurity is probably one of the main factors that lead to the psychopathic behavior required to become a billionaire in the first place.

Nailed it. “I want the bigger number!” when most people couldn’t even ID how many frames per a second a game is without being told (myself included).

Spy was great. Feig is (typically) very solid.

It’s also going to be on Game Pass.

Bringing out the Dead seems like a big omission too if only because it’s his only team-up with Marty.

I also thought it was funny that the articles calls Starfield “hard sci-fi” and then in the next section mentions “mystical artifacts that light up and move in magical ways” which by the article’s own definition is not hard sci-fi. This is a great example of why micro-labeling things is stupid and pointless.

Okay.

People seem to be sleeping on Swarm but that’s really good.

That’s the biz for better or worse. Great shows get cancelled all the time, hell great pilots never make it to air. It’s all up to the masses, and if they don’t show up for whatever reason it doesn’t matter what the content is... it’s getting canned.

I mean, superhero comics have been around for nearing on 100 years. The world, the universe, and the multiverse of Marvel has been under attack, collapsed, and has been rebuilt many times. I think they’ll figure something out.

Right? Every min wage paying cashier job I had, if I miscounted by anything more than a dollar (some places as low as a QUARTER) I would be penalized or even fired. Meanwhile Gomer and crew can just pick someones pocket, count wrong, and still get away with it.

From all accounts I’ve heard he was a huge pain in the ass to work with too. If he wasn’t outright belligerent/creepy/annoying, he was barely around... or was but you wouldn’t even see him, just his remote controlled car with a microphone attached to it that he drive around the office.

I haven’t watched since about season 3 or 4, but even then it felt like the tread was starting to wear a bit thin. Reading where it’s at now in your post made me lol. Sounds like a completely different show.

That’s part of it. The other part is Hulu offers live TV. ANOTHER part is that Disney can put content on Hulu that doesn’t “fit the mold” of Disney+ (like rated R content).

It was always fascinating to me that the Olympic athlete was the one who seemed to suffer from performance based stress the most. I’d love to try her cooking one day just not in a competition setting haha
