Yeah the one in this episode harkens back to the comic where she’d ask the editor for clarification on something. Very on brand.

It was one of the best movie I’ve seen in years, honestly, and I see a lot. It successfully accomplishes what it sets out to do in a way that appears effortless but given the subject and tone is incredibly difficult to achieve. Really impressive stuff.

Top Gun, RRR, Woman King, Black Panther 2, and Avatar 2 stand no chance. They may very well be entertaining (and the ones that are out are!) but they aren’t best picture quality. Out of the genre/blockbuster flicks I could see MAYBE The Batman getting a best picture nom, but highly doubtful.

How about sympathy for the devs and creators who make these games? Those people who commit years of their lives to a project only to have some ding dong reveal it before it’s finished? Yeah screw them right?

Love stories like this. As an animation writer myself, what you guys do as animators is literal sorcery to me. So it’s great to not only hear that Diedrich is a cool dude, but thoughtful as well. Congrats on Brave and the Bold, it’s a really fun version of Batman and one that I lovingly share with my niece and nephews!…

lol I know, I know, it’s 50% I don’t need another device to suck away my time and 50% I’m going to upgrade my Xbox One to a Series soon.

I’ve also heard it doesn’t run all that well on Switch, which is what it seems perfect for (and the system I’d most likely buy it on). I’ll be waiting for the inevitable half off sale in 6-ish months.

I’d also add that if you’re so poor that a $15 movie (or $8 matinee) breaks your budget, entertainment is probably the least of your concerns.

Just seems like parody that The Boys has already tread from a better POV.
