@hawkeye18: Never tire of that quote. The people in charge obviously don't subscribe to that philosophy.

@anuran001: "With publisher's going out of business, advances shrinking and sales down there's less money to waste on things that aren't safe."

@katgirl476: Thanks — I'll definitely check some of those out. Then I'll need some time off work to actually read all the books I've been interested in hehe.

@crizzyeyes: I used to work as a play-tester for the Playstation some years ago and it was a fun job, but till this day, I still don't actually own a console unit and play PC games.

@konaa: Your comment sounds to be on the right track there

@Mizzle fo Shizzle: Although a bit of departure in style, but not to far away in period, I would check out "The Best Horror Stories of Arthur Conan Doyle" and Roald Dahl's "Book of Ghost Stories" or "Tales of the Unexpected".

@katgirl476: I really liked Little's "The Association". Tried one or two of his other books but couldn't get into them, but that one was good. And I will NEVER buy a house that is part of a home owner's association, not cos of that book, but because there's so many real life horror stories about that.

@Jonn: haha... that is definitely not the type of "horror" I look for. I look for "Horror That Will Spook the Jaded" type lists.

The Chuck Berry of Zeer pots is fuming about now.

@clocker: You'd be surprised at some of the stuff a person can sneeze up.

@SisterRay73: I agree but these people hardly operate in a common sense world.

@SisterRay73: I'm guessing his PR bothers because they're worried about what probation officers and judges will think.

Looking out the window is more than enough for me when taking off.

@Smeagol92055: 1408 is a great adaption of the short story. Better than the short story, in fact.

@Belabras: Duma Key was refreshing in that it for once wasn't set in Castle Rock for cryin out loud.

@Eddard: Except the exclamation points were completely inappropriate for Serling's tone.

@Norseness: That's the best line, for sure.

@k4man: Yea I don't know what she's talking about — I don't see any new Filipino remake on imdb or wikipedia... there's just the American-made original.

I saw this movie last year and agree that it's not at all bad until the ending, where it becomes more of a Halloween-oriented Family Channel made movie.

@bakagaijin: Being in shape may help reduce injury, but will by no means make you immune to it. All it takes is landing a little wrong and that can happen to any pro athlete.
