Same here. Anything that anyone adjusts frequently (AC, volume, radio stations, etc.) Can be done more conveniently in a car from 1970 (considering it has those features) with knobs and buttons than in a modern car using a touch screen.

Almost like they got really stoned and saw a hot wheels pickup and a hot wheels van and were like “I don’t see why not”
The problem with tdi’s is the problem that all diesels have. They aren’t actually cleaner. They are only cleaner with regards to carbon monoxide but NOX and particulates are much worse by fundamental design. Every company’s diesels are bad. There’s a nice BBC article showing that of popular diesel models in Europe…
The thing is that the ecoboost doesn’t really help with towing and only gets better mileage when cruising. If you drive it hard or put a trailer on it the extra boost demolishes fuel econ. I’ve been told by a guy who owns an ecoboost that he gets only gets about 17mpg! I am assuming mixed/city driving. Also I have to…
Not steeply at all few people trust them. Truck buyers in Texas can be pretty suspicious of changes like that especially when the realize that they get worse mpg than a v8 truck when towing due to higher boost and constant turbo spooling
Somewhere in texas. I should know. When gas is cheap, trucks overwhelm cars. Fort worth during the stock show definately.
I always heard that bill nye is an arrogant butt hole but I guess that makes sense why he would appreciate Elon Musk
Seeing a “don’t mess with Texas” sticker I assume you live in Texas. I never realized that before. I’m sure you can assume from my profile name but I live in Texas too.
Almost perfect except for the taillights (gross) and could use some more power to be worth 90k
Or you could just hurry up and buy a chevy ss sedan for less and I think you can actually take one of those apart unlike a VAG product when it breaks
Except for the cvt I have to disagree. Appliance cars can’t off-road like an outback although it would be fun to try off-roading in a stock grocery getter that no-one owns or has to pay to fix.
Boooooo.
If you look closely you can almost tell how little driving emotion it actually has similar to the driving emotion of a desktop computer maybe that’s why they attached an interior onto a monitor the got from walmart
Second gear: Screw Audi and their proposed autonomy. I will never drive a overly complicated and soulless appliance. All I need is a heater, a radio, and adequate power (which is subjective). Simplicity is its own type of luxury. So basically all I need is a hot rodded air cooled vw (beetle, ghia squareback,…
If your car was automatically impounded every time you got caught doing 93mph in Texas every impound lot would look like those dieselgate stashes
(The sound of everyone grunting while trying to over tighten their lug nuts)
The other day I heard then saw a cop wringing the crap out of their charger hitting at least 55 in a 40. If they would have turned off traction control there would have been tire marks. Also, at the dealership where I work we were working on a sheriff’s Tahoe and saw that he had a chip that deactives the cylinder…
Me neither. Diesel is dying anyway scince it will never be as clean emissions wise as it would need to be to stick around. That is why many large cities and country around the world plan to get rid of them in the next decade or two.
No words devised by mortal man could ever describe the beauty and glory of that photograph. I feel blessed to have shared this moment with all of you today.
I’ve heard that on the newest of the new powerstrokes you have to remove the driveshaft, trans, and oil pan just to get the front timing chain cover off
