There was a short story collection (Everything’s Eventual?) where King described repeated the same event over and over as his idea of Hell. That helps. But you’re not wrong.

Dark Tower was (obviously) my favorite thing I’ve read. I loved those characters. I’m excited for the movies because I’m hoping the ending will improve.

I read a lot of King. I love him as a story teller. But you are 100% right. The longer the story, the worse the ending. The Stand was awful. The literal hand of fucking god.
