Counterpoint: Toyota is putting their name on BMWs now.

While this is true now, I think most Jalops are worried that because these sell so well we won’t be getting the more traditional enthusiast varieties much longer.
It’s 2019, if these vehicles identify as coupes it would be very insensitive of us to disagree.
Flexing on other soccer moms is the most important competition many Americans will ever participate in.
Having worked retail, if your racist managers want to keep an eye on all the “suspicious” customers they should hire people to follow them around the store. That’s what my boss did.
How on earth is Trump libertarian?
I’m failing to see the anarchy here, you’re doing all of this via the means of government force, yes? Or does the trade union do this on it’s own while the government just lets it happen?
Curious how a self identified anarchist would vote for a full-on statist in an election. Elizabeth Warren has never seen a problem she didn’t think the government should be solving, how does that line up with anarchy?
And on the internet. I’ve played some games online, and while I don’t speak Russian I’m pretty confident this one Russian fellow was saying some very unflattering things about my mother.
No emissions testing at all where I live, although other parts of the state do have some kind of test it isn’t full-up CARB (yet).
Seems like the problem is the California DMV, not the LS Miata.
Some things are universally understandable. Hurling profanity at morons is one of them.
Considering he likely paid the camera guy to do what he did that isn’t going to go over well. The camera guy may also get in trouble, but “I paid this guy to do an illegal thing so I’m not at fault” doesn’t usually work.
Are there any cars you consider to be not fast?
The bar does move. A Ferrari from the ‘70s was very fast at the time, and even the used Camry referenced here would dust it. Does that make the used Camry fast?
6.7s 0-60 is not “legitimately fast” in 2019, that’s about what you’d expect anything that isn’t a complete penalty box to be able to pull off.
I wonder how much of the decline in car sales is simply because cars last forever now. Basically any new car you buy should go 100k miles with relatively little drama, that wasn’t the case for a long time and maybe automakers expectations on how often people replace cars haven’t been properly adjusted.
Again, read the rest of my post. A lot of people can’t charge at work either, I can’t. I’d own an EV right now if I could. Living in an apartment and not having access to charging at work is not an uncommon situation to be in.
Did you read the part of my post you didn’t quote? A lot of people don’t have their own garage to charge in, thus making EVs unappealing compared to gas powered vehicles that can fill up at gas stations.
Our unfaltering support of the Saudis hardly began with Trump.
