Chicken Tax.
Chicken Tax.
Incidentally, this is how I feel about Hyundai/Kia. I’ve had a few as rentals over the last year and every time I wonder who on earth would voluntarily part ways with real money to own one.
Everyone likes to think all Teslas are P100Ds with Ludicrous Mode. Even those only have 1 or 2 strong passes in them per charge, if one outruns you at a stoplight just try again at the next one and you’ll probably win.
They’re ultra salty about the decision to classify Uber drivers as contractors so we’re gonna get a few more of these over the next few days if I had to guess.
There’s no point buying anything in this class other than a GTI unless you just can’t get over anti-VAG bias, or the money is just that tight. The GTI is better than everything in this class and has been for years, and the only reason that might change is because the mk8 is ugly. The Hondas aren’t exactly lookers…
This was always Elon’s goal though, he said from day 1 he wanted to force major automakers to take EV production seriously.
That does sound deeply satisfying. Anytime someone asks me to “prove it” at work I never get to go do burnouts, it’s always PowerPoint :(
Did Keith give the mandatory “Hold my beer and watch this!” that’s supposed to occur when someone challenges a Mustang owner about their burnout prowess?
Some statutes use estimated damage to determine the severity of a crime, I’d wager that’s why the police have to put a number on it. That number could mean the difference between classes of felony, which then determines how severe the punishment is.
Personally, I’d take the winnings from court to send everyone in the county a letter that says “I EAT ASS” and a a note to call the local sheriff’s office if they’d like an explanation.
That only matters if you’re more concerned about the perception of the car than the car itself. If you’re buying it for yourself, that doesn’t matter.
This x1000. If it were a problem endemic to 20" wheels all the other makes would be facing similar lawsuits. The rate this is happening seems to be unique to a couple models/years of Vettes, so it’s safe to assume it’s a problem with the design of those specific vehicles.
For “how much do I put down?” you also need to factor in what interest rate your loan is going to be.
If you hated getting Biblical on people you’d stop doing it.
I do this too, if I’m not gonna get anywhere quickly anyways I might as well find some scenery to enjoy.
Fuck off slaver.
If you have to force people to pay you for the services you provide, it says an awful lot about the perceived value of those services.
While you’re right, this is Jalopnik and therefor unions are good and pure and the answer to every problem anyone has ever had, so get ready.
Yeah, staying at your desk and doing the job you were paid to do is awfully suspicious. Put a mark in all their files.
Look, we gotta be able to sell this thing on the base 3-series since that’s where the UltraDouche buyer demographic is. None of those people are actually wealthy so charging more is a bad idea.
