The writers took all of the interest out of the Cas/Metatron plot by making the waitress suddenly powerful and violent. Killing an innocent would have grayed the lines and made for much more interesting television.

A. Nobody will have superpowers—this is a "realistic spin" on the comic. Like I said—saying it's a "comic book universe" is only a half truth as they have stripped down what would have been the comic.
How did I know that the AV Club would give this stinking, heaping pile of shit a decent grade while simultaneously saying something along the lines of "forget about Young Justice"…
So apparently you can kill a guy by—touching his forearm? Fuck you, Arrow.
Fuck you, Supernatural.
Chris Hardwick is a douche bag. Like we really need an entire show dedicated to The Walking Dead. There are so many brilliant television shows on television—just on AMC they've had Mad Men and Breaking Bad—yet we're supposed to pretend THIS one actually warrants intellectual discussion? This show has terrible…
By the way: "That makes its violence as hollow as the holes its bullets produce." <—Terrible writing. Holy shit.
Flip just about every review and you'd have my opinion. Usually the worst rated eps of a show on here I'd view as great and the best rated eps I'd think were terrible.
Ignore the review. The show was awesome—it was the review that was terrible.
Turn what around? The pilot was fantastic.
Half these fucking reviews don't even talk about the show. Todd Van Der Idiot spends most of the time in his reviews just pondering the state of television. These pseudo intellectual hipsters spend more time trying to come up with contrary opinions just to make themselves seem somehow superior to what they perceive to…
The fact that you gave this a C—yet AV Club will give the last two shit season of Community a bunch of A's, Arrow B's, and still pass Burn Notice at all—cements the fact that nobody at the AV Club has ANY fucking idea what makes for good television.
You actually said this might be the strongest season this show has had in several years? Wow, your opinion has now become worthless, as this is by far the worst season of the show to date.
