It's like, about elephants..and shit.

Holy shit, I had no idea this was actually a Coldplay vid until I just Googled it! WUT WUT WUT?!?!?!?
Well, the point of the story is wasteful spending. I'm not sure that suggesting we wastefully spend is spouting a particular political view..in fact, it's completely apolitical. Are you suggesting that the government is a great steward of our tax money?
For the hell of it he should include in his Rider a bottle of Cristal and and a box of magnum condoms.
@Tylerbrainerd
We could just cut $500,000,000,000 of annual wasteful spending from Medicare/Defense and not have to worry about this?
Apple innovates, they mostly define what tech markets are going to be (smartphone, tablet, mp3, ultra books, take your pick), and almost all others, including Android, are purely reactionary in their methods. I exempt WinMo7, at least it's a fresh take on a mobile OS.
If I allow you to come in and see what I have under development, don't come back and bitch that I beat you to market with that idea.
Good for Apple. They changed the entire dynamic of the smart phone...they led the way, and of course some of their ideas should be theirs exclusively.
So yeah, parents can be silly when it comes to vaccines...but anthrax??? Nope, not my kid, not happening.
That type of thought is what every iPad hater and others with no vision were spouting a year and a half ago. You're crazy if you think it's just a TV with built in iTunes/ATV. ATV already accomplishes that - it will certainly be different...somehow.
They pretty much own the world, so they're pointing right back at us, laughing (well, the government at least).
You talkin' about Angry Birds?
Japan waged war all over Asia in the 30s and brought their imperialistic bullshit to us...which drug us into the war. Why should we give them oil when their unchecked aggression was wreaking havoc in Asia???? Really, should we have just continued to allow them to be assholes?
I wasn't talking about solar energy as a concept. I was specifically referring to the solar charger... it's not really a green device at all, nor is it cost-beneficial.
The Nazis were the bad guys. It's quite a tall order to paint them as anything OTHER than "bad."

Way to take a civil thread and inject a dose of 'asswipe' into it.
True, you make good points. Question for ya (and I promise I'm not trolling): Has there every been a study or whatnot about the carbon cost of the manufacturing of these things compared to charging devices via the normal way?
