I work in an area where WiFi / cell devices are not allowed, dammit. I like having plenty of room for all my music, and after a decade of iPod use I can't even think about using another mp3 player. I might have to go buy a couple extra Classic iPods and store them.

Wow, could this system be any more irrelevant before it's even launched? At $150, very few people will buy it. It's simple, just allow me to stream saved content on my receiver to my iPad, or I suppose to any of the irrelevant tablets as well ;)

This being the first Keynote post-Jobs, I think it makes sense. Tim has been on stage plenty, but it's a new ballgame now that he's the man. A Jobs keynote was a spectacle, so yeah, an understated event in this case is probably best.
