I think most people agree that Avatar was great in 3D..however it seems like most people, ironically enough, also don't like 3D overall. I'm starting to think that a number of post-production rush job 3D movies are spoiling the overall attitudes on 3D, when it's been shown that 3D can be very good when it's done

@DustyButt: As of me writing now, you're the first comment to bring that up. Great Mos Eisley reference though!

@Hoser Dave: Of course not, just saying it's not something I'd spend tens of thousands of dollars on, especially when the long term value probably isn't going to be great.

I guess it'd be cool to own this, but it seems like it'd be sorta like owning the Charger instead of the Mustang from Bullitt.

@fwa2500: Still, it's not Air Force One.

FCC: How are you going to pay the fine?

One the one hand, yeah, 3D can, for the most part, go away. I've only seen 2 3D movies I've enjoyed (Avatar and Dragons)..but on the other hand, I hope it doesn't die because maybe down the road with this continued investment from ESPN, et al, it will turn into something decent.

@Kikzilla: So the Dem politicians are all of a sudden poor compared to the GOP? That's a laugh!

This smacks of outright government waste.

@Joe Heincker: Very nice to know. I was thinking a youngish director/producer not accustomed to tech heavy movies.

@Mindfield: Yeah, that fucker couldn't direct his way out of a paper bag.

I wonder who it is? Definitely not James Cameron though..the linked article talked about the owner being in a state of pure excitement when he played with the controls. This ain't gonna make ol' Jimbo feel pure excitement.

So a person has to identify themselves as ugly...sheesh.

It's like a geek version of Porky's

For something like road rash from a motorcycle wreck, I wonder if this would have any impact on septic shock...

@OMG! Spinnies!: I guess it's 'illegal' the same way weed is 'illegal' in CA?

This is an interesting story, I wish Giz would have expanded on it without me having to follow a link.

@vein11: Yeah, but those lawyers are dealing with some explosive charges
