@Buckus: Drag racing happens in like 4 second spurts..with the motor having to be completely rebuilt after every pass. Try driving a dragster from Switzerland to England like Jeremy Clarkson.

@Buckus: So the Veyron wasn't an engineering feat solely because it was expensive? Why would your rationale apply to cars and not to something like the Hubble Telescope?
@Odin: What does critical systems have to do with anything? Because so called critical systems fail all the time. Hell, I can't even get something as simple as a Solitaire app from crapping out every now and then.
Looking at the other linked pics, it looks like just a cheap prop from a Halloween store.
@norazi: Oh man, you're right. Every time I see that scene my chest tightens just a little bit.
I can't wait to hear about the miner who had a wife and a mistress who each had no clue of the others existence...and how he untangles himself from that sticky wicket. Maybe living in that hole wasn't so bad for him.
@Helixthe2nd: I heard Weird Al Yankovic is in the studio at this moment
@TheRutles: Never had a problem with them..in fact they were nothing but helpful with me when I added a line to my plan - even though it was my fault for not reading the 1st bill right, they still knocked off $50 dollars off of it.
@Steven Callas: This kind of hype doesn't matter. Think about it, if somebody wants an iPhone regardless of the carrier, they'll get it now. If a Verizon subscriber is a happy subscriber and isn't willing to leave Verizon to get an iPhone, but will take one if it's available..then the release date doesn't matter. …
Getting beyond the supposed conflicts of this or that interest, is what he's talking about a valid concern?
Hmm, call me old fashioned, but when I turn on the TV, I just want to watch TV. Stock quotes and Twitter and all the rest I can do easily and quickly from my mobile device.
I think this will be a good product for somebody like me..I dont rent that many movies, and when I do I dont want to be bothered with driving to a Red Box. I just want to order the damn thing right then and there. PPV usually is limited, so this falls in nicely. I'm sure I'll soon get one soon enough.
@badasscat: We have prohibition to thank for jello-shot girls selling jello shots. Since I wasn't alive during prohibition, it was worth it.
@gifpaste: He's only the guy who has run through pretty much every Hollywood starlet there is. Oh, and he's a guitar wizard.
@Bryan South: Thanks smartass, didnt notice helmet when I watched it :)
@Odin: I suppose the capacitors that may be in there could discharge? I'm no expert in the field though...
I can't ever remember seeing a perspective quite this..umm..first-persony? Great video, but did this guy drive the plane with his knee?
It's a little scary to think that this can literally happen to my neighborhood right now...
@AnnieGetYourFun: Well shit, you asked where the intellectual dishonest part was...I clearly explained where it was. That still didn't jive with you, so I pointed you to the definition of the term. I'm at a loss as to where this goes from here...
@AnnieGetYourFun: You need to look up the definition.
