@Ixosis: Funny thing is, he responded to me to show his obvious disapproval...and called me unsophisticated and ignorant in the process. I approved his comment because while it was a bit trollish, he showed he has a certain intelligence, and the post was well written. Also, I never questioned his morality, just his

@krosref: If you knew me, you'd know that isn't the case. And not everybody is fit to be a parent; the topic of this post being a good case-in-point. I'll say it again, it speaks to the judgement of the parent.

@hallucinathan: Oh! How declasse, my unsophisticated brain obviously is no match for your superior intellect..what nerve I showing by even responding to you! I love it, the parents take a pic with a bong in the kid's mouth and you decide to attack me instead. Pardon me while I go puke.

Being the father of a 5 year old, looking at this pic literally makes my stomach queazy...passed drug test or not. Although I suspect that most people don't need kids of their own to have a similar reaction.

Being 33 years old, waterbeds are one of those nostalgia things for me...like Knight Rider. The reality is both those sucked out loud, yet I'll always have a soft spot in my heart for them...

@bwm210: Yeah, I agree...just bury the shit in a lead cask down in a hole in the middle of nowhere...one failed launch from Vandenburg would crap-up all of SoCal.

I don't think I could sleep at night knowing that there is so much junk moving many times faster than a bullet, and it would take just potentially just one paint chip to bring the ISS down...

Saw The Expendables last night - it was, at the same time, the worst and best movie I've ever seen, and I LOVED it. Being 33 years old, action movies like these is what I grew up on. In that same vein, I'm really looking forward to Machete...

Ernest Hemingway might have something to say about this if he were around today...

@ImSpartacus: I disagree...just playing the odds, if multiple-thousand criminals were wandering around, many would slip through the cracks. The government can't manage the most simple of tasks like filling pot holes, so I have little confidence they can keep tabs on a bunch of criminals who are otherwise wandering

@casperiv: Beyond the crime of actually dealing weed (or crack, etc), the crime surrounding that drug dealing is outta control. Fighting over corners, gang turf, and what-not would all but be gone, or at least greatly diminished.

So Bernie Madoff does his time in a multi-million dollar penthouse...no thanks.

The apps concept sounds cool but I doubt it gains much traction. For movie playback, just get a DVI/HDMI cable and plug your laptop into the TV...it's cheaper.

The only reason this is a story is his lack of clothing, ie if he had a t-shirt on, this wouldn't be on Jalopnik. There is absolutely no difference with a t-shirt vs. no shirt. Let's keep it in perspective. Also, if he's tooling around on a city street, the chances of catastrophic road rash is a lot less than

@Kokos: huh? I'm pretty sure you're taking a shot at me, but I can't figure out the angle...must be due to my inferior Tennessee education or sumthin'.

Well, if Apple can can Papermaster and hire Skillman, I'd call that a pretty good trade.

@The5thElephant: See, now that's the reason I hearted you...I couldn't have said it better.

@mind in rewind: Shhh, he doesn't want too many people to know that, plus I made a lame attempt at humor.

@iTofu 3GS has no reception problems: Haha, if Woz of all people has to stand in line for an iPad, I can't imagine this yay-hoo getting much more than a Nano on his way out.
