@java.android: Not true. Google's VP quoted in the NYT article says it's only for gay couples.

@Beatlab: Shit...I missed it. :-/
What happens in the event of a breakup? Is the salary re-adjusted? Also, what if a single straight person claims a domestic partner? Do they receive the pay bump? Like a Tim Robbins / Susan Sarandon kind of thing.
@Beatlab: You can't possibly be serious. As much as you'd like to think otherwise, all publicity IS NOT good publicity for Apple. For crissakes, they're not Heidi Montag or Lindsay Lohan.
@Odin: Yeah, but...as a CEO of a major company, comments like that, those kind of statements are cannon fodder for lawsuits.
@MazdaMania: Media as in Gizmodo, CNN, and Fortune Magazine? This obviously doesn't include the numerous other news outlets reporting this.
@Tattertotter: I don't know scientifically, but I suspect it uses the same power either way as the pixels are shining black instead white or sepia.
The tween market is waaaay overrated.
I'm much more simplistic in my reason for choosing Kindle ebooks...the Kindle app on iPad can reverse text to white, while iBooks can't.
So there's no market for an e-reader the size of a newspaper?! I refuse to believe that.
Ugh...I can't stand anything that is either stuck on or encapsulates my phone. I really want the iP 4, but no way in hell am I buying something where I'm effectively forced to add some crap to it...
Very cool. I am all about any post that proves there's still some humanity in this world. These type of stories beat the hell out of broken glass or lawsuits or jumpers...
Rock on, Kevin. Stay outta Scotland, we need your full attention on the Gulf.
@solOptimus: Something wrong? The release of the iPad and pretty much everything up to iPhone 4 has went off without a hitch. How do you draw your conclusion?
@8oardR1der: So a smiley face after a racist remark makes it ok?...sheesh
This is almost as bad as the recommendation to not put the N1 in your pocket.
Yeah, so, um...I hope this isn't the meat of their dissertation.
@Zoot: Yeah, I think having the glass extend unprotected to the edges is gonna be a problem for Apple. I've dropped my iPhone 3G several times, and thankfully none hit flush on the face...it still works just fine.
