Never? At all? Well you've been missing out! Yeah, if you ever decide to get the higher tier content, just go to your key page and there should be an option to add more money to your order. If you pay the difference, which it kindly informs you of, you can unlock all of the higher tier downloads.

And you completely miss my point. Kotaku isn't the only site I go to for news. You don't go to, say, Shoryuken.com for news about MP3 players. You don't go on CNET for news about the latest authors. And, by logical extension, you wouldn't go to Kotaku for YouTube links completely unrelated to both gaming and Japan.

I'm not asking it to be tailored to my individual desires either. All I'm asking is that it keeps with its theme and doesn't make me subscribe to a completely unrelated video series by proxy. I go on Kotaku not to see what I want to see, but to see gaming news and Japan news. Not the third or fourth link to a web

Fappy is love. Fappy is life.

And that's great! I'm glad you got a chance to hear about it, and of course there's nothing wrong with someone sharing it with you. The thing is, though, this series, which isn't game or Japan related at all, has been shared on here quite a few times before, I think even multiple times in the same day by two authors

Heh; the creativity of the internet never ceases to amaze me re:your video.

I want to say that this is the third or maybe fourth time I've seen this series on Kotaku. It might have been newsworthy the first couple of times but does this really need to be shared so often? I get that you like it Patricia, and so do I (very much so), but there needs to be a bit more variety in the "look at this

That's kinda what I expected Ground Zeroes to be in the first place, and yet everybody is excited for it like it's the full game. I honestly wish that they included it as the prologue chapter it was clearly designed as.

Haha, that's how I feel sometimes, but if you think about it, a few bucks (if you have them) to support a company that's technically a bit of an underdog in today's market is money well spent. I've bought games on Virtual Console, actually, that I already own just for the convenience of ensured compatibility and ease

Like Zeus said, they usually update the store later in the day for some really weird reason. I'd say about 6-6:30 Eastern time, and you can adjust from there.

And people say that Nintendo games don't go on sale! Ha! Then again, the only reason this game is on sale is because virtually nobody bought it, so that's pretty sad. I love this game and Platinum as well.

Civ isn't an RTS, but a turn-based strategy game. Think of it like a super complicated and in-depth board game where average games can last an entire week filled with thrilling "just one more turn" moments. If you enjoy Fire Emblem, you'll absolutely love these games. Each "game" in one of these games is a unique,

I can't tell if you're seriously calling Civilization games generic simulations, or if you're referencing something else. Either way, good sir these are award-winning tactical experiences that no self-respecting man should live without. It's worth at least a few cents to try IV at the very least.

Baba Yetu was one of the few songs from a video game in recent memory to actually win an award if I'm not mistaken, so... Um... What? I love all of the Civ music. IV and V especially have some of the best music I've heard in gaming to be honest. It really adds to the tension, especially in the late game. Also, I think

Yeah, a lot of moves are better with light, quick taps that are immediately followed up by other light, quick taps. It requires less effort with an arcade stick compared to pressing down a key or a normal controller button, and it's a little hard to explain. That said I could totally play characters like Juri in SSF4

What I meant by sensitivity is that arcade sticks use special buttons usually. Ever use one? They register even the slightest presses and while I have no doubt that you can play action oriented games fine with a keyboard as I've been there myself, fighting games really do work much better with the hardware they were

Haha, I hear of people emulating the hitbox layout with a keyboard but I imagine that it's not entirely ideal considering how the keys aren't quite as easy and sensitive to hit as normal buttons, not to mention how small they are. Honest question: what prevents you from using a stick like most serious players?

Even on my normal arcade stick (Qanba Q4RAF) it feels very piano-like due to the precision, timing, and multi-finger movements needed on the right-hand side. I used to play piano earlier in my life but I gave up due to lack of interest, and it definitely feels similar to me. If only my mother understood, haha.

Even then, you can do Street Fighter-esque combos once you get used to a Hitbox-esque control scheme. It uses buttons for all of your movement and some people swear by them.

Now I finally have an excuse after I remember you mentioning it every other day.
