It should be close, the M3/4 is now a bit over a hundred pounds lighter than the Mustang with possibly more power, given the dyno reports we've seen.

Ah, didn't know you've already test-driven the new Mustang V8 and a new M3/4. Otherwise how could you know which has a better chassis?

435 horse for 32k! Thats a performance bargain. Works out to what, $74 per horsepower? Hard to find so much power at this price point.

I believe so. I think it would be a mistake personally. Too big to manage. But what do I know?

If VW bought fiat. Would that make VW the largest mfg in the world?

"Meet the new Boss, same as the old Boss.."

Sure, but I've had to do this 4 times in the last 6 months. They keep making the selector lever out of plastic...

That is why GM never brought in anyone for her position that wasn't already with GM. They like the culture there and they have no intention of ever changing.

Turn left and then right around a couple corners and tell me again how fast the Camry V6 is.

"GM's corporate culture is changing. We know that because Barra says it is. "

Yesterday GM, today GM, tomorrow GM, why? Isn't there anything else to talk about other than GM? Or is there a GM hating author on jalopnik? I mean BMW just recalled 1.6 million cars but nobody is reporting that. No it has to be GM. I'm really sick and tired of seeing these articles everyday.

In Europe, that's - I suspect - actually a significant concern for Ford. The new Focus RS could easily cannibalise the Mustang's sales if they launch fairly close to each other—and, with how small its niche is in Europe, the Mustang's going to struggle anyway.

The RS is looking good to come here. It has the chassis and soon the engine on sale here. I can't see the combination being outlawed.

Ford haven't confirmed anything yet. I think the fear is that they'd have to price it fairly close to the Mustang, and so it might not sell well enough to be worth federalisation.

Is the focus RS confirmed for the US? I really hope so. As good as the focus ST is, 0-60 its no faster than a camry v6.

Hahaha touche. I recently killed an old craftsman 3/8" ratchet, and they replaced it for free. But I had to go to sears.

Jack and jack stands. Jacks fail, I saw it this weekend. The car was supported by a jackstand with the jack as a backup next to the stand. Jack went down by itself. Goes up but no longer holds pressure.

Save yourselves the trouble and make your word processor always auto-correct "Miata" to "S2000".
