Yep... not dead... just resting...
Interesting. Actually I have had a few times where the idle dropped down a bit after starting it up, but it only lasted a split second and then everything was fine.
Weird. Nope, no issues here. Rough idle then die? Or it just shuts off?
Come to think of it, I believe that happened to my MIL's car once as well... she said the car just shut off while she was driving it. She had an 03 Alero.
Bastards.
Speaking of which, where is the mazdaspeed with the new body/chassis? Is the 2.3 turbo from the current gen mazdaspeed3?
The new WRX/GTI are out performing the ST. In terms of acceleration, a toyota camry v6 is just as fast. In the midwest, we dont have nice curvy roads, its all straight line performance.
How bad is the road noise?
The ignition switch on my alero will shut off so easily. I'm honestly surprised they arent recalling alero's too. Then again, maybe they figure there arent enough of them on the road to make it worth their while.
It most likely wont be here in the US. Also the slower 0 to 60 time is going to turn off a lot of drivers, especially ones who live in cities and need the brisk acceleration around town.
Any word if their infotainment is still the microsoft system? Hard to tell by the pics above, but cant tell if it says powered by microsoft under the sync logo.
Wonder what the focus RS will cost in comparison to the $26k ST.
Why no 2.3 turbo from the mustang? This segment has some stiff competition from the new WRX and GTI. A flex fuel option in the ST would be nice too.
The front screams Fiesta ST, and the rear a mix of 2015 Focus and 1990 Pontiac Grand am with the over use of plastic ribbing/ cladding. The pinched tail lamps also now no longer match the fuel door which was one of the nicer details on the 12-14 Focus and Focus ST.
The Buick Regal GS is a conundrum. It's not luxurious enough to be a Cadillac. It's not cheap enough to be Chevy.…
It is becoming more and more clear that a new Ford Focus RS is coming soon. Camouflaged prototypes of what appears…
How about oldsmobile? They have been gone for 10 years and are becoming more and more rare. I highly doubt it, but who knows. Maybe we'll someday see an alero roll across the block at barret jackson and sell for 100k? Ok, maybe not an alero, but maybe another model?
Wasnt there a Focus ST Shelby package offered at one point?
Why not offer an SS package on the cruze that has the 2.0 turbo and 6 speed? Same platform as the verano so it should fit right in. This would be key to attracting younger buyers to the brand.
