Wow, all fun and games until it grabs your arm

I had no idea. Very interesting. Thanks for passing that along!

I never knew ford used to be in aviation.

Yellow fog lights as an option?

In most of the magazine comparisons, yes the camry, accord, fusion, mazda 6 have been chosen over the malibu. I've always owned GM cars and dont think i'd ever buy a camry or accord. I want GM to be successful. Unless they build class leading cars, I dont see it happening.

64 malibu is a beautiful car. Agree 100%, there is a LOT of heritage and history that goes with the malibu name. Its a shame to reduce it into a boring appliance type of a car. In my opinion the current malibu and many other cars lack excitement. The passion for design just doesnt seem to be there.

Thats a fair point. We dont know the previous history of this car and what sort of condition its in. It is however, a 2014 model so i'd assume its fairly new and low mileage but its not safe to assume that.

When does the NSX version of this come out?

Is a rental car any different from the actual production car?

I wish the mazda 6 could get a v6 engine. 4 cylinders are good for gas, I get it. Gas mileage is important, but its not the only thing.

I would LOVE to hear a retort from GM designers/engineers. Why is it they cant build a malibu that is class leading or at LEAST close to an accord/camry. Other Chevy products are significantly improved, what is it in the last 10 years that they cant get right with the malibu?

    Thanks, yea def a challenger

What kind of cars are there? On the left is a charger missing the front end? What about the other two?

Is that a charger or a camaro missing the front end?

I just saw a G6 GXP at lunch. Except for that spoiler, not a horrible looking car.

Isnt the current silverado brand new? I thought it was just launched as a new 2014 model. I could be wrong, not sure though.

Depends on your definition of good. 0 to 60 time of 6 seconds flat. Thats on par with what the focus ST can do. The next generation GXP would have been an ATS platform/powertrain without the luxury features. This would make for incredibly affordable performance.

These were for sale? Wow, I had no idea. Always assumed they were concept only.

Hopefully we'll see this engine somewhere else in the GM lineup. Would love it see it in a buick. I highly doubt it, but maybe it'd end up as the next Malibu SS or maybe the Impala SS.

Had pontiac survived, the next generation G6 GXP was supposed to be a stripped down version of this. Would have been the enthusiasts dream car. I think I recall reading that in a bob lutz interview.
