    HAHAHAHA

No driveshaft, half shaft, transfer case, etc... A lot of weight can be saved. good point! Lets say they use electronic hub motors. That could cut down on even more weight

    Maybe in hub electric motors?

What about in hub electric motors, that would be really interesting to see on a production car

You're right! I dont think anything else comes close. Not hard to see why Subaru is doing so well right now.

I'd still take a base impreza over the prius. Having driven a prius before, i would never do it again. If the impreza is anything close to the WRX, i'd take the impreza all day long. Have driven a 2004 wrx and loved it.

Not me. Dont think i'd ever own a prius

I live in chicago, drive in tons of snow. I've never gotten my car stuck once. Granted, I also learned to drive without ABS, traction control, etc... Back when they taught us how to rock a car to get out of the snow.

The prius does not come with a manual transmission. Never has

Even if it had AWD, subaru shouldnt be worried. An AWD prius would still lack in comparison to subaru. Think about the handling, braking, acceleration, interior comfort, engine/trans feedback. All areas the prius struggles. It does however get good gas mileage.

Dont forget lame handling, lack of power. Personally, I dont think AWD is going to do much for the car.

This will be really interesting. The Prius designers usually have a goal to make the powertrain as efficient as possible. Adding AWD usually means more weight and increases the power demand to turn the other wheels.

Yea, I look back at all the cars I almost bought. Still wishing I bought a GTO when I had the chance.

    Dart!

I'm sure this will be very reliable. Who cares, I want one!

Yea true. Back when, I had a 1996 oldsmobile achieva with a 5 speed manual. Believe it or not, my achieva 2.4l twin cam could pull on his maxima! Just barely, but everytime it would be by about half a cars length.

This is a heavily modified, re-badged Dodge Dart, right?

Back when, my friend had a 1998 maxima v6. I remember his maxima crushing several celicas from a red light. That was with me adding an extra 100 pounds or so while sitting in his passenger seat. Those were the days. I'm sure if the roads got curvy, the celica would have pulled away. In the midwest, everything is

Good point, its incredible how often these get overlooked. Man, I really miss the old buicks. New buick doesnt come close. The current regal GS is as good as they have been, but that car just lack power. Badly. It needs a v6.

Wasnt the oldsmobile version of the 455 better than the buick GS?
