How are all these turbo engines going to hold up long term? Asking a small displacement 4 cylinder to make 300 horse and move a 3000 pound + vehicle all day long is going to take a toll on durability. Of course manufacturing and design have improved, but still. It would seem like we're asking small engines to do so…

Has anyone ever tried out a harbor freight torque wrench? I had a coupon for 9.99 so figured why not. Tested them against factory tight nuts and bolts. They seemed to be dead on.

Makes sense. The 2.8l turbo is an even better option then. Makes more power and wouldnt need any new engineering. I test drove a G37x and it hit me right away that what the regal was lacking is power.

How does one suggest a recall or point out a potential defect to GM? My 2003 Olds Alero has an ignition switch that shuts off with a small tug to the key chain. If I were driving and something caused my keys to bounce, I could see this potentially shutting off the vehicle.

I test drove a non GS regal. It was OK. Really, I wish it had a v6 option. Why not put the camaro v6 in the GS? That extra 50 horse would be nice

Why not offer an SS package on the cruze that has the 2.0 turbo and 6 speed? Same platform as the verano so it should fit right in. This would be key to attracting younger buyers to the brand.

Maybe the Buick Verano will be recalled next. Same platform as the Cruze.

I highly doubt it, but MAYBE we'll see them drop the 2.0 from the ST and have the 2.3 turbo from the 2015 mustang. Throw in AWD with it?

I wonder what the total count is on recalled vehicles from GM at this point. Guess the good thing is they caught the defect before anyone dies from it.

I've got a 2003 Oldsmobile alero. A little bit surprised they arent recalling them as well. All it takes is a little pull on the keychain and the car shuts off
