The head of the NHTSA should be a safety professional and leader, not a bureaucrat. I know these are usually patronage jobs, but when you clearly have someone that had an agenda outside that mandate, they should be rejected.

Volvo wagons in general largely kept their exterior design cues even after steel hydroforming came around but they softened the look and made them less boxy. But you could grab a 40 year old wagon and a new one and they would be eerily similar.

That was a very disjointed ending. I’m a huge Indy car fan, and for the 500, I’m in favor of adding 5 laps IF there is a yellow within 5 laps of the finish. Extend it out to a reasonable amount to let a post yellow or red flag settle in and get cars warmed up.

Now that Indy car has gotten it’s act back together, Milwaukee absolutely should be back on the schedule. There shouldn’t be any problems finding signatory sponsors for it and the product and its marketing have rebounded pretty strongly.

It looks like a CGI shitpile.

I won’t go that far, but it’s a good song. Very Bondian and she owned it.

Curious, because it makes me double down on my anti-Tik Tok stance. If anyone’s mental health should be this tied into social media platforms, they might have bigger problems going on in their noggins.

Exactly. And they keep trying to make Nate a character arc that is either under developed or too slow paced. Either way, I don’t care about him because his character is going nowhere.

Vaughan....

In a world where modern cars are the most reliable and durable they’ve ever been, why wouldn’t people keep them longer? It makes good sense to do so.

Another Transformers movie? And what the hell are the Maximals? I remember Dinobots but not the others. Looks like a CGI-schlockfest.

What a great piece, thank you. Quite educational.

Same. I see them quite frequently here. Very innovative. Truly a great step forward for EVs and trying to integrate the outdoors and outdoor activity with one that’s functionally built for it. I hope they thrive.

Slideshow of almost 50?? Get outta here...

That’s right- those are all volunteer groups so their proceeds are entirely driven by tips.

I generally agree with your assessment here but my own personal clarification is two-fold: they perform GREAT customer service, and/or are providing a SKILL. I try to make that distinction.

Lucid lost $768M??? TOAST.

As is in Seattle, Portland, St. Louis, Baltimore, et al...

I also thought that maybe there would be more growing pains associated with her character—learning that business is tough and seeing a more mature side emerge to complement her big spirit and personality.

This is additional validation to the notion that buying a new car is one of the most financially irresponsible things a person can do.
