The thing I realized at some point, is that even if you love videogames since the pong era (like me), even if you practically owned every console that were released since then (at one point or another in your life), you just need to come to peace with the idea that you won’t be ever able to play everything you think

This is EXACTLY where I’m at. Put off DMC5 at launch, but now it’s on Game Pass, oh and GP is only $2 right now and that XBox One is just sitting there collecting dust anyway, right?

Yeah, this philosophy works for me....

What I do that helps a lot is ask myself “will I play this game right away or will it sit on my shelf?” It’s gets me thinking as to what I’m doing now and what I actually have time to play.

I’m slowly starting to learn that there is no way in the world that you can play every good game. Or if you can, you can’t master it for the full 100%

*slow clap*

The proper term isn’t downvotes, it’s “surprise disagreements.”

I was curious, so I started looking at the other comments. The fact that the third-most downvoted comment holds that distinction is a sad and clear statement on the pettiness, sense of entitlement, and immaturity of many gamers. It is a completely reasonable response from a person who clearly cares about the

Well at least that will give them a sense of pride and accomplishment

My brother and I have been considering getting Wildlands to play together. Right now we’re playing Metal Gear Survive co-op missions (hey, the game isn’t actually that bad). Can you go into a bit of detail about your enjoyment with it?

Breakpoint, i learned today, has loot. But it keeps the Wildlands system of “a bullet hurts” and “headshots are always lethal.”  The beta for it starts tomorrow, so we shall see how it actually feels soon enough.

I’m actually currently playing The Division 2 with my partner (we are about to complete the main game), and having spent over 200 hours of GR: Wildlands co-op madness we are actually very looking forward to Breakpoint.
The idea is probably to switch games, since I’m done buying seasson passes after Far Cry 5 and Forza

Agree but at least for this particular change it led to the game feeling less smooth and more difficult to play.  I’m happy they’re trying to improve wall replacements and get away from super low ping advantages.  The execution was just off this time even if the intention was a good one.

Just an FYI...you can play in VR with a dualshock and pretty much the same control scheme as the non-VR version. You will need to go into the VR options and adjust whether you want teleportation or smooth movement. Play around with the options until you find what works best for you.

I was very turned off by the motion controlled flying at first (on PC currently, although I have the game on PS4 and PSVR so I’m planning on trying that as well to see the differences), but once I got the hang of it I really appreciated it and I honestly think I’m way better at dogfighting in VR just because of the

I agree with this completely. I’ve liked the idea of the previous updates, what they introduced, but they never made the game more playable for me. So far I’ve sunk a good 8 hours into the game since the update. This is alot for me, I only have an hour at most a day to game. It’s finally fun, finally addictive and I

I get that, but man, that is just really such an annoying addition. I’ve finally put a lot of work (for me) into Destiny 2 lately. I don’t have enough time to work on multiple characters, so I just focus on my Warlock and finally got him up to 750...for what? lol. It makes the grind feel that much more pointless.

Maybe you’re confused - Bungie has never used that argument to justify anything. The main reason people know about Bungie’s slow tools is because of Kotaku’s reporting on Destiny’s problems, which is certainly not sanctioned by the studio or its management. Outside of a few granular GDC talks (which are a far cry from

I get that one can glean all of the vast and fascinating story from the lore and the grimoire, a la Byf, but I simply hate it. I fucking hate it. I don’t want to piece together this incredible story from scraps that I have to tie together myself. I want a clear narrative, with lots of unwieldy exposition. I want

I’ve made the Dark Souls lore connection before, but one of my absolute favorite things about Destiny is how engrossing the games’ lore is. Sure, you can definitely see some of the conscious decisions to add things to the game, but taken as a whole, the story is very deliberate; you can watch the threads slowly pull
