No actor has gotten more of a free pass for two movies than Adam Sandler. Sure, he was good in Punch-Drunk Love and Funny People, but is that really enough to ignore that most of his work is shit? And, unlike his character in Funny People, Sandler hasn't shown one iota of concern about that?

Ah, the 70s when Dennis Weaver was expected to reputably play a cowboy.

Boy, I can't wait for Tatum's emails about this.

There's a bomb in the lasagna?

Seriously, No One Did This Before Internet?

Brooks use to do this stuff. Back in the 70s. Sexy stuff. One critic called them European. I thought they were shit.

Z is amazing. So glad to now have the opportunity to see the follow-ups.

The fun thing about all the cars is how they turn out to be functional though they seemed to be designed by… well, by crazy Australians after the Apocalypse. The bubble wheel car is the only vehicle to get passed rubble, the tread vehicle in the swamp, etc. All the cars had personality, a purpose, and drove the plot.

Mad Max Fury Road: TWICE. I'm willing to do my part to bring back fun popcorn movies. What is there to say that hasn't been said already? Oh, maybe that George Miller proves you can have a movie that's almost entirely action and still have characters that are fully-developed and understandable. Not that there was a

To be fair, that means A.A. Dowd thinks this movie is BARELY better than the Bryan Cranston Godzilla.

The only weak spot of the the blernsball episode is that Jackie Anderson is like the only serious character ever in Futurama. She puts down Leela for trying (failing miserably, but still trying) which makes Anderson really unsympathetic. Since Anderson is the only character who comes out ahead in this episode, it

C'mon AV Club

Animated? I thought part of CK's schtick is being lethargic.

So…. uhhh…. at what point do they, you know, fix the title?

So is there already a "deflated balls" joke in Ted 2 or is Seth MacFarlane going to have to voice one over in post?

I don't remember the writer, but someone made the argument it's because he talked to Darth Vader as a equal ("He's no good to me dead.") and Darth Vader didn't force strangle him for impudence. Instant cred.

One of the best things about comic book movies, that they can take philosophical disagreement and turn them into exciting, dramatic physical confrontations, is also one of the worse things about them. I'm really sick how anyone vaguely disagrees with how the super-hero does his thing always has to turnout to be evil.

To me it only gets worse with Sen. Garry Shandling, instead of just being a guy who doesn't think we should trust a magic robot suit to an alcoholic, turns out to be a SPACE NAZI. It's so obnoxious in comic book movies when someone cannot honestly disagree philosophically with the hero without turning out to be a

To be fair, The Lost World seemed to ignored the events of The Lost World.

I'm not gonna lie: if the plot of the Entourage movie was Vince and the gang have to make a Sherlock Holmes movie, I would watch it.
