I REFUSE to believe people are so, um... lack of intelligence.

I’ll fire away.

That’s what happens when that person is only make $17,427 a year...

It jsut goes to show how dumb our laws are. Likewise, lawn darts are banned. So, switchblades and lawn darts are banned, yet in most of the US, one can still own:

A friend has one of those flip-out car keys. At the airport a TSA agent saw it and called his supervisor over. He examined it and concluded “Yep, it’s a switchblade.” My friend was detained, missed his flight, and only later got his car key back. True story.

They have done landings and takeoffs from a ship. The problem is not that a single plane will melt the deck, but that the deck can’t dissipate heat fast enough for sustained F-35/V-22 operations, limiting how quickly they could sortie in a combat environment.

The issue wouldn’t come up for me at all because I would completely and utterly avoid the 100% optional scenario altogether.

I’m not a teacher but good lord, dealing with some of my idiot classmates, I always wonder how you people do it. Do you know how many times I (as a student) have told someone else to stop bitching about not knowing something because it’s in the fucking syllabus? The same syllabus that the professor said on the first

If it’s something that’s stated in advance, is a 100% optional course, and you don’t get a D for not having DD’s, I don’t really see the issue with it. There’s nothing inherently scandalous or sexual about being nude in front of a stranger (e.g. art models), and while college has pretty much become a diploma mill for

Yeah, I’m pretty sure the “no one was ever informed of this final project or the nudity involved until last Thursday” refers only to the mother voicing the complaint.

The helicopter mom has landed. ;)

This is a really weird power dynamic, and I have to agree that it is super inappropriate. That being said, the student is an adult. Asking mom for support and advice is fine, but she needs to make the complaint herself.

The landing is impressive until you remember that they can’t test it on a real aircraft carrier without cutting though the deck. Still, I say we give things a positive spin and call it a unique ground attack capability.

Initially I thought the league wasn’t going to suspend their golden boy, but once I started hearing about other teams getting pissed off, this became the obvious result.

So the same number of games they initially thought was appropriate for Ray Rice knocking out his fiancée.

Yep. first thing I thought of. But that’s more a statement on how bad Ray Rice’s initial punishment was than what this punishment is.

Reminder, this was two games:

He is expected to appeal the suspension.

Knock your wife unconscious in an elevator and your team goes out of its way to not fully investigate: 2 games, no repercussions for the team

So it’s worse than beating your wife, but not as bad as beating your wife but being caught on tape.
