I like ikea as much as the next guy... but it looks like someone built a whole room out of it and added a few knock off "it" designer items.

It's about public conduct. Being a stripper/porn actor doesn't interfere with one's students, writing an offensive book in your own names does.
As a highschool teacher, I have a really simple solution to these sorts of things. Create tests and assignments that can't be cheated. Ones that either require unique products or performances (demonstrations/presentations) or that require critical thinking and not regurgitation. A good test can't be cheated on, just…
All of my internets go to you! Well done.
Often the games are played under different rules or with different equipment. I know in Woman's Hockey, the rules around body contact are radically different then Men's Hockey. The WNBA plays with a ball that is 7/8s the size of a NBA ball and the game play in the WNBA is also very different from that in the NBA. I…
Although that is good to know (thank you)... I wonder how many churches have had their status removed... I'm guessing not many.
What about things like this? http://www.huffingtonpost.com/2012/08/26/cardinal-timothy-dolans-republican-national-convention_n_1827962.html I mean it's slightly different... but not really.
If they did move to the centre on social issues, they (and I think genuinely) fear a third party that is explicitly christian rising up, led by some evangelical preacher, and all of those votes going with him. The fiscal conservatives aren't enough to carry the party unless they find some way of splitting the Dems as…
Sorry, you missed the reference. In Canada we have these "Canadian Heritage Minutes" that play on our nationally owned TV station. They display some moment of Canadian history, acted out with a really (for us anyway) iconic voice over. The characters always have very few and very short lines and therefore people are…
"But I need these baskets back..."
Well trolled sir. I was surprised this many people took the bait.
In many places there are laws that specify the the actual product you are selling has to be the real thing, while the secondary stuff, the sandwich that goes with the Miracle Whip, can be faked. I've built food props (which are always faked, even if the actor has to eat them, you sub in something that will be easier…
No one would, but the author of the tweet is trying to show how ridiculous the rate of $0.50 per text is.
the linked article says that they paid for one session, but nothing after that.
I've seen that too and while it is amusing, I don't know what Best Buy has more then two people working in a dept.. I've never seen it, maybe computers, but that's it, and in our location I have never seen someone in the comp. dept. not bombarded with by a customer. Maybe my location is an anomaly, maybe in Canada…
A few months now. I came in really skeptical as you'd expect being a cynical techie, but seriously, in our store people take their jobs pretty seriously. The have fun, but when it comes to the work they don't fuck around much. I can't speak for other stores, but the store I work in runs a tight ship.
I work at Best Buy and have seen nothing but professional behavior since I have started in terms of product and costumer service.
In most business settings you would have all of your usb connections in a hub and then use only one on the laptop, rather then plugging in six separate usb plugs. You need the high quality webcam for video conferencing, the better your picture, the better people are going to be able to see your nice suit.
Something that wasn't mentioned in this review: The camera is big. Based upon the pictures and the style you think it's going to be the size of a Leica, but its much taller and fatter, not that these are bad things, just hold one in your hands to get a sense of how large and sturdy this camera is. I was really…
Like I said in a response to my own post, "make your pick", not "all of the above".
