The Beckham thing STARTED under Coughlin, and his Giants shit the bed just as much. I agree that McAdoo is closer to Ray Handley, but the Giants biggest enemy for the last 3 years has been their own desperation.

“I know the feeling, Ereck. I’m so damn sick of all the Raanan sentences from that guy.”

I will vote for Hillary. I don’t love all the choices she’s made in the running of her campaign. But I think her AWFULNESS is overblown. Could the left do better? Probably.

No, we cannot agree with that, and yes, you are drawing a false equivalence.

COUNTERPOINT: Hillary is fine, and sometimes even good.

Likability numbers are the dumbest thing people have tried to make relevant in politics. Who the shit cares if a candidate is likable?

I am not “far left,” nor am I a Bernie supporter. I’ve supported her from the beginning (though I had hoped Warren would be a candidate).

Nope, I can’t agree on something that is simply wrong. She’s a good candidate and by no means “awful.”

Dear Deadspin,

No. We cannot agree on this because you are wrong. And here is where the far left makes the classic GOP mistake over and over and over again. She’s not everything you hoped for in a candidate. “Doing better,” in your mind, means having someone probably like Bernie who advances ideas that all sound very good to you

I was reflecting on this point during breakfast. At this point, I’m basically as dug in as the Trumpers. There is nothing she can do or say that will surprise me or keep me from voting for her.

While I don’t entirely agree with your assessment of Hillary, I do have to note (with enormous satisfaction) that the Republican party couldn’t put forward any reasonable meatsack.

You’d think the Chargers would have enough in them for the current not to fizzle out after 30 minutes.

I make a pretty decent whiskey sour. I’ll invite you folks over to talk shit about the election cycle with me.

I understand the need to shoehorn this gif in at the first opportunity.

Second, it becomes clear we were not invited.

I certainly am, but I just moved overseas to the U.K. so it’s not as bad as being in Germany during the Bush years.

‘Huge lines before the presidential debate tonight’

I’m convinced that the sniffing is a respiratory reaction to whatever downers they give him pre-debate to keep from flying into a fit of speed pill rage. I beg you to do some reporting on this.

After everything this weekend, you’d think he’d be more comfortable with blowing it.
