You do realize that actors can renegotiate their contracts after a certain point, right? That point being once those contracts are up? This happens with every hit show right around this time.

Except they don't seem to want to be producers, they want to be actors, and they're not asking for 100% of the profits. Both sides agree with the relationship as it, they're simply quibbling over the percentage of compensation. See how that works?
