No kidding. That's what makes Smith's "crusade" extra-douchey. Without some VERY generous critics lauding him 18 years ago, he'd still be at that fucking Quick Stop.

I tried to give DETECTIVE COMICS but the Joker's sliced-off face nailed to a wall was enough for me. I don't mind gore, but Batman isn't a fucking horror character.

Kids grew up a lot quicker in post-war America.
David Robert Jones' evil uncle, perhaps?
That was the first season, but during the second season Chris Carter got bored and wandered off and the show got pretty fascinating with an ongoing storyline about secret societies working to bring about the Apocalypse. Then Carter came back and said, "Hey, let's forget all that stuff, and give Frank a younger female…
One of the best theme songs of the 1980s. (From Mike Post, who also gave us the theme for THE GREATEST AMERICAN HERO!) http://www.youtube.com/watc…
@leave_the_silver_city I believe that BRIMSTONE was rerun by Chiller at some point.
I'm surprised Bendis hasn't made Uncle Ben the Supreme Hydra yet.
