They brought up adoption for Kev and Vee but I’m sure that during the season when all the Gallagher kids got sent to foster homes Fiona actually asked Vee to take them in. And Vee said that she would do it but Ethel had completely screwed their records and now they can no longer legally adopt or foster kids.

Very good point and references.

I know I do nothing but nitpick this show now but I really wish there was some acknowledgement of JimmySteve at this point. Last week when Fiona discovered Ford’s double life, I was like how is this happening AGAIN!? I at least would’ve liked to have seen Debbie spring into action this week in response to seeing her

Fiona should have talked to Margo. She would have probably bought out Fiona’s share of the nursing home deal or intimidate the guy into letting Fiona out.

I really have to wonder what SAP sees in an addict who didn’t disclose his bad habits until he’d moved in with her and her children and who would rather watch porn than have sex with her. A guy like that probably doesn’t even meet the minimum requirements to be a friend, and that’s before he says that sex with her is

I believe scientifically it’s complicated. Both nicotine and CBD can act as stimulants or depressants, depending on the dose and the user. (Same for alcohol.)

We use CBD dog treats for our neurotic lab around July 4th/New Years to great effect. She still panics but it’s like 5-10 minutes for her to calm down instead of 2 hours. She does drool a little bit more when she sleeps on them, though.

I like this idea, but I doubt it. Men have identities. Women are nameless.

I think Nick saw her choose Luke in that scene, and it’s clear to him he has no shot if she had a real choice. He even called him “your husband” so I think he knows what is what. I wouldn’t bet on Nick being in S3.... Eden knows too much, and is too deeply brainwashed. She’ll be turning him in soon.

I’m sure the fireplace is part of Rita (the Martha)‘s regular routine.

It shows that Nick really does love her, not just lust for her.

I finished watching Orphan Black today and I was surprised to discover that these two shows share another cast member aside from Kristian Bruun: Amanda Brugel plays Rita here, and on Orphan Black she was Marci Coates, the political opponent of fellow commenter Alison Hendryx. They’re such strikingly different

I’m starting to think Nick’s not gonna make it. Which is a shame, because I like him. And I think I even like him and June together more than June and Luke (not a huge Luke fan. He’s fine, but kind of eh). But it feels all kinds of wrong to have Nick and June together while she’s still hoping to get to Luke in Canada.

Nick was not very careful with these letters. It’ll take about 5 minutes to figure out how they got to Canada.

Also, fuck Serena. I know the past couple of episodes try to paint her as a victim, but she’s not. She helped to bring this nightmarish world into existence. Only once she got beaten by Waterford, she is shown

Nick is 100% dead. As soon as he handed over those letters after they made a point of reminding us in the previouslies that Eden knows about them, he signed his ticket to the wall. He’ll die a hero, but he’s just totally dead, dead, deadski. Poor Nick. Also, did I catch a vibe between Eden and the twat Guardian who

This was my favorite episode of the season so far. I’m glad it’s a longer season, too! It was one of the first times it felt like real movement was happening and the status quo with some of the regular characters can’t possibly be restored.

Ohhh man this was such a good episode. The Serena scene with Joel from Parenthood (yeah didn’t catch the character’s name) was interesting. I know Serena is in too deep with Gilead, but it’s obvious she doesn’t like the regime. I’m curious to see if she actually does take the guy up on his offer later.

Now Antoni can show persons of all backgrounds how to cut and serve an avocado.

I’m really conflicted about this one. Clearly the writer is Minnesotan, as she passive aggressively sat and drink 1/3 of the strange tasting drink instead of asking the server if there was something wrong with it. But she also orders a drink with cayenne, which no self respecting Minnesotan would ever do.
