Yes and no. I accept your argument, but it also could be said that the Bugatti Veyron SS is then not a hypercar, but a supercar, because it also set a lap record at TG. Is the line between hypercar and supercar then as blurry as a puddle of mud?

I'm just happy to watch a great segment of Top Gear, again, and to be reminded of the difference between a hypercar and a supercar. Hypercar = gobs of power + gobs of money - competent handling characteristics, and supercar = lots of power + lots of money + proper handling characteristics.
