Ok, you know that little school girl/boy feeling I mentioned earlier today about supercars and jets? Yeah, just got it again seeing this spotter guide. It's like a matchbox car wishlist, but with real race cars for big boys!
You, sir, are correct. My planelopnik knowledge appears to be a bit rusty.
The F-14 Tomcat and the F-16 Eagle were my Lamborghini Diablo and Ferrari Testarossa before I knew what a Lamborghini or Ferrari were. These jets were my passion, Top Gun was my favorite movie, and I was 8. This all changed, of course, once I turned 15 and got my driver's permit. Then I remembered that Miami Vice…
Fodder, your age must be getting to you. It was me they picked. And the crazy thing is, I wasn't even playing Gran Turismo, I was playing Forza.
It's career will last as long as Ryan Leaf's. Eh, eh?
And here is where the a$$hat of the day edition should have been posted. In the words of Mike Spinelli, to this Lambo owner, "You are an embarrassment."
@hemihunter:
Heart click, you and I are on the same wavelength today Guac.
@ Guacanator, thank you! You literally took the words right out of my mouth. This is a SPOT ON analysis. Yesterday's moron hooning the bimmer could have hit several people, but by sheer luck he didn't. If today's video was an E30 bimmer with a roll cage and an engine swapped out of a M5 this would have been posted and…
Maybe they could make cobb short throw shifters a stock item? Rowing through the PRNDL on the dash like a race car driver!
Great quote. I'm going to steal that one.
HAHAHA, COTD.
Oh man, now I want to go play Goldeneye on the N64 I don't have.
Greatest. Game. Ever. I think I played more hours of NFS on the family computer than all other video games combined. It was this game that turned my interest in cars into a full blown obsession.
Why am I the only one who liked this video? I actually got excited about the Evora, which until now, HATED. Then I read all these posts, and got sad. What happened to the car love, you friggin Debbie Downers! It's Friday for criipes sakes!
Both are gorgeous in their own right. The 599 is a stunning GT car, and the 458 is a true sports car. I love that the 458 looks like a little Enzo. Similarly, I respect and delight in the front engine masterpiece that is the 599. The curves on the 599 are so much sexier than the 550 and 575, though I LOVED those cars…
