“I’ve got to slow down before I come to a curve!”
“I’ve got to slow down before I come to a curve!”
Florida, huh?
Don’t forget that it’s much more reliable than the Land Rover or G Wagon as well.
That can’t be a serious question.
I wouldst not waist neither the tar nor the feathers. Pfft!
He was a genius. You might be only thinking of him in his later years and later image. His cultural insights and ability to get inside our linguistics were tops.
If all you know if “Angry old man” George Carlin, then your opinion is misguided (but you are still entitled to it). Some of his funniest material was his stuff from the late 60's and 70's. He is in my Top 5 (only behind Pryor) and should be in everyone’s Top 10, if only because of his impact and the doors he opened…
I mean, i will never ever ever ever ever ever own one.
But i mean c’mon.
There’s a little piece of each of us that wants one.

The respect I have for racing instructors is as high (if not moreso) as what I have for actual racers. Just the thought of riding passenger for an amateur learning to push the limits of a vehicle, even an experienced amateur, is pants-shittingly terrifying for me. Never mind when that person is 70.
I have parked my Miata on that berm. If you don’t slow down some before you get there, it is a launching pad.
It’s easy to forget sometimes how dangerous our hobbies can be. RIP
As an avid hunter, fisherman, wilderness enthusiast I can’t agree with you more. It leaves the wrong impression, that people who use their vehicles to access the wilderness are there just to fuck it up. Where we should be conveying the message that we are leaving it the way we found it and being a part of nature, not…
I’m a Jeep fan but I have to say, I agree with the Fish Guy. It’s incredibly disrespectful to the environment and an ad like that really encourages bad behavior on the part of Jeep owners. Hunters and fishermen, who make up a large segment of the Jeep market, are (or should be) great stewards of the environment. Jeep…
