Oh, Carrie - I seriously had the same reaction about Kerr Smith. I gasped and rewound for my husband, excitedly exclaiming, "look at the name at the bottom left corner when Callie goes to hug Jude!" Then we discussed who he would play and I guessed Callie's dad. His response was, "oh, he's old enough to play her dad

And I guess it says something about that scene/storyline that THAT'S what had my attention.

I just want to throw this out there: what in the fuck was Santana holding during the 'music video'? What was that supposed to be?! It was like an enlarged shiny red Lego. Why?

He DID have tears in his eyes when he got it. I mean. . . obviously that's a thank you. ;x

Ditto. Ugly sobs.

"I am a child of DI-VORCE," had me almost in tears. I love this episode and probably because I'm the ultimate sap, I love Nick and Jess together. When he threw her the tissues, I swear my heart crumbled. I hope they reconcile.

Has anyone noticed the camera focusing on the character's hands a lot these past few episodes? I've Googled it each week to no avail. I'm not complaining, just curious.

LOVED the "he's family" line. Loved.

I was willing him to dump it out with my mind so hard. Even after the first sip, I was all, "okay, that's your LAST.SIP.EVER., right?!" Sigh.

I haven't read through the comments yet but man oh man, I feel so differently about this episode than you do, Joshua! This episode got to me. The scene with Mandy and Lip at the diner made me cry almost instantly - so heartbreaking and played SO well! Mickey's protectiveness over Ian? Debbie and Carl being so relieved

I had to rewind it twice, I heard 'peed' and my husband heard 'canteen'. When we figured it out, my mouth dropped open - what fuckers.

"If Sarah or somebody calls them on anything, they get defensive in a way they wouldn’t with their own daughter. And that’s realistic! If my sister tries to call me on something, I tend to get huffy. But it also makes it seem as if the show is constantly taking the side of Adam and Kristina when I don’t think it

I think it might be Mickey realizing he's out of his league a little.

That's where I went with it all.

I haven't read through all of the comments but I'm guessing that the "donor" backing out was doing so because he was receiving the liver and was freaking out about the back alley-ness of it all.

Agreed - much like when the patient was seizing and she just kept pulling out the medical supplies, completely unaware.

Lena's talk with Jude was amazing. I am constantly impressed by the dialogue surrounding these issues.

I, too, am really sad for his hand. I gasped and said, "THE PIANO."

I'm really nervous that since Callie isn't currently able to be adopted they might try to go there again. Which is what I do not want.

Waaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaait, why do we think this?! I didn't go there at all!
