It's really eye-opening to me to be watching this show again in my twenties, because I am remembering how I was when I watched it when it first aired (the "too young" argument could totes be made, but whatever, I was obsessed). I'm able to appreciate how 'real' their attitudes and bitterness are because I really was

Totally agree with all of you (and @avclub-981ec2327e01401e552164ed7314d4b0:disqus below) - Andie was so freakin' great in Season 2 and then **SPOILERS** Season 3 she just freaking high-dives off of the deep end. . . I'll tell you what **SPOILERS AGAIN**, the episode when she pulls that BS about the yacht club guy

So glad you've returned! I really loved that Pacey put Dawson in his place over all of this “Get over yourself, Dawson! Deal!” - and rightfully so. Forgetting a friend's birthday - specifically, the 16th birthday - is a Big No-No. Seriously; I am torn between remembering how I felt when I was younger, watching this on

I'm re-watching and doing the same thing! I FLEW through Seasons 1 and 2 and now I'm almost done with 4 and I'm slowing way, wayyy down - I don't want the inevitable to happen, to go through seasons of suckage with episode-long high points.

I have been insanely hitting 'refresh' since 10:00am - I cannot WAIT for the recap of E1,S2 to post. These recaps have inspired me to re-watch the show in its entirety for the first time in years, despite owning the series on DVD (I've only played the 'watch my favorite episodes' game). Seasons 2 and 3 are easily,
