2001 Porsche 911. Happy Valentine’s Day!

The only Impala of that generation worth that much coin would be Robert Davis’ personal (and favorite) vehicle. I’m not sure where it ended up, but that classic blue over grey was fantastic.

Of course I’m having a shitty day, we’ve been fucked completely as a working nation for literally my entire life and are entering a huge risk area. Literally every day we’re growing exponentially closer to the destruction of human kind, and it took an orange haired clown to get people to even think about it. The

The American idea of Capitalism has always been, and might always be, about taking advantage of the less powerful. Shoot - never mind the American part - that’s just Capitalism. It’s about Capitalizing.

I picked up a 99cx pretty recently and have been nothing but impressed. Previous owner added Koni Yellows, Kuhmos, and seats from a GSR but left everything else as-is. It doesn’t even make 100hp but turns in better than just about anything made this millennium. Having less shit on a car makes a daggon big

I am still consistently shocked that the general public doesn’t recognize the broader issues with automation and the machination of the world.

Don’t buy a car, lawyering is one of the most over saturated jams going. It’s too easy to automate and replace with AI systems, things never recovered from the 08 crash and the big hits haven’t even started happening.

It sucks to see ads for PatriarchyApprovedGroomingProducts here, but I guess Haim Saban doesn’t have enough money already.

Vaughn was great in ‘Clay Pigeons’, could be a fun movie.

Bangle got that car so right, it’s aged better than anything else from the era. He was PANNED when it first came out, particularly by the moto press.

“It’s only available if you are inclined to redline the engine and risk blowing it up.”

I think he’s overall fairly correct, but it takes a huge science retard to miss Judge’s genius.

That’s what I’m saying, I don’t care about the story or history or production numbers or any of that. I think a lot of folks who ride feel the same way, so it’s tougher to maintain value of bikes.

5 KLRs......you are an inspiration.

Best bike ever made, would be perfect if it didn’t use a bit of oil. But I guess that keeps me from running it too hot on long trips so I guess it is perfect? Here’s my favorite picture:

Also a brand new Africa Twin is the same cost as the Bimota. I just can’t imagine buying this bike outside of the DreamGarage scenario.

I think a lot of us who ride care about the ride itself more than the story. My whole stable (KLR, little 250, old civic, old jeep) is roughly the same cost as this single bike. A mint Rotax Buell is half the cost of this Bimota. It’s a cool bike, but not a good deal.

You’re insane if you think these values are anywhere near the floor. There just aren’t enough actual car people who actually like to drive actual cars to absorb the huge amounts of the great cars manufactured in the past decade. 997 is a very poor buy right now. 996 is a brilliant purchase - it’s 90% of the car for

The way our country functions best is when there’s a more progressive team and a more conservative team for people to root for. When people stopped switching sides things really started to get bad. Now that we’ve gotten to the point where everyone things everyone else is stupid we might literally be too far gone.

I’m more shocked at how frequently it goes the other way, particularly in finance. How is it that someone cen be convicted of a financial crime and still be rich afterwards? IMO those convicted of serious crimes (including sexual assault) should be made poor immediately.
