And, correct me if I'm wrong, but hasn't Andrea seen the roomful of heads?
Doctor Smith was at least good for comic relief. Not so Andrea.

I seem to remember that the first show-runner, Darabont, said something about wanting to do a show about the zombie in the tank that Rick encounters in the very first episode, taking him from the zombie outbreak to how he wound up in that tank. IMO, that could have been pretty cool.
I was wondering why the zombies made absolutely zero noise until they were right on someone's ass? Andrea's actively trying to be quiet (and let's for argument's sake assume she's as competent as a very, very dumb person at that task) and manages to crunch, crunch the glass and rattle, rattle the various chain link…
If you're using a scope, you're only using one eye.
IT'S CUB!
I got T-Dogg as well. AW HELL N….. actually I'm alright with that.
Yay! Michonne gets to be a bad-ass. Holy shit, Michonne gets some character development and dialogue?!?!?! Double Yay!! I was slightly annoyed by Carl's insistence, wisely ignored by Michonne, that he had to go alone. Hey kid, allies are useful in this world, don't be a nimrod. But it all worked out well in the end. Did you really just suggest flashbacks with Lori? Nooooooooooooo.
It's not just that there's a black man quota, it's that the black men are no-dimensional (I was going to say one-dimensional, but then I realized that was status quo for all characters). Poor T-Dog never had any impact on anything as a character. The most memorable thing T-Dog did was to get an infection in his arm.…
Flaming barrels first bring up Great Depression imagery in me. It is that reference that causes them to be used in dystopian imagery, I think.
I literally just watched that for the first time last night! Comments from AV Clubbers got me watching the whole of The Shield over the past few weeks. Thanks AV Clubbers!
Damn, I just made that joke and then scrolled two comments down and saw that you had made it only to realize that someone else had made it.

Only if the Doctor yells "You killed Clara! You bastards!" every time.
