It's hard for people to talk about things that are neither success nor flop.

That Super Nintendo commercial is bizarre. Admittedly the idea of playing Nintendo on a giant screen was hugely novel to kids in those days, but slamming in Sim City, a fun but rather slow paced game seems a bit out of place compared to Zeldo, etc.
"Humanity is pretty much doomed…"
If I've learned anything in my years on this Earth, it's while the Director has a huge impact on the success or failure of a movie, directors that look like automatic wins can produce duds, and directors who seem like untested commodities sometimes hit it out of the park.
Rich and wildly popular?
This amuses me because the Two Body Problem is when you have a married/committed pair of academics/professors and in order for one to take a job in Timbuktu, there has to be a job there for the other one. So my first thought was "Oh, I guess the Three Body Problem must be for polyamorous triads"?
Ideally? <$1/hour. But realistically that only applies to highly replayable games.
I dunno, I feel like if I buy a $10 game that is fun for a couple of hours but turns into a grind, it's a fine purchase. That entertainment dollar is competing against a movie ticket. For $100 I'd want something special.
Interesting. I was in high school when this was happening. My cable company didn't carry M2. It eventually picked up MTV2 when I was in college, but by then it really was "the station that plays all the same videos MTV shows, but round the clock".
I doubt it. But I'd imagine it would be the same sort of hate thrown at Michael Bay's Ninja Turtles movies. And of course Michael Bay has few actual supporters, so it wouldn't result in much online discussion at all.
She also got really excited about the Olympics.
I dunno, not sure it's about race as much as size. If it was Beyonce, I imagine the internet would react like they did about JLaw.
Well, from the reports the role was scripted and expected to be a lot bigger than the final cut ended up. And there have been widespread reports that the original cut of the film was deemed too dark by test audiences. So yeah, the final film probably was different than the original script.
Um, didn't Episode VII make it pretty obvious what her lineage was?
Overall I'd agree, although some generations more than others.
Well, I believe it launched in the US July 7
Probably only a couple weeks.
The thing about festivals is the people at Bully might have been waiting for the next act.
That's not awful. My house in the suburbs has two stops at the park about a 10 minute walk away. My work in an industrial area also has two stops about 15 minute walk from my work.
I love mushrooms but hate beets. They taste like vomit to me.
