Louie wrote that line. The character didn't get to decide whether to say it. I agree with the reviewer that this was dumb to do. I don't think it was racist or anything like that, but I thought it was cool that there was this sort of surprising thing and they never treated it like it was anything to comment on. I

I personally am sympathetic with the counselor's attitude. But I got the strong impression that Louis CK (as the writer of the episode) was trying to present it as the counselor being full of shit. So I think Todd misread that scene, in an otherwise great review.

Yeah, I think Todd really misread the counselor scene. Great review otherwise though.

Huh, I like her in "transparent", but I actually thought she was the only one in this episode whose acting wasn't sensational.

What was the deal with that weird, super shallow skillet? It was giving me anxiety, watching all that grease so close to sloshing into the flame.

Even the people with weird faces in the hospital that were never really explained?

I also replied to a four or five year old post last night, so what?

The bikini actually was flattering IMO. No swimsuit would have made her look like Jessa, but that one actually made her look better than most others, I think.

I thought this sounded strange, and thought to myself "hmm…how do I do it?" and then it occurred to me: I don't think I almost ever change clothes without a shower in between. What would be the point?

I actually thought she looked surprisingly good in the bikini. She doesn't have a great body, obviously, but the bikini was a good fit for it—better than the clothes she had on when she arrived on the bus.

Huh, to me Danny Strong was Doyle from "Gilmore Girls".

It's not fair to compare them, given their different lengths of tenure. "30 Rock" was better than "Studio 60" in their respective first seasons, no question. But by the third season, "30 Rock" got pretty stale, and I bailed.

Except that the meaning of the word "literal", like that of "nonplussed", has evolved.

Being into "Studio 60" is a far, far cry from liking Nickelback or most Adam Sandler movies (he has been in a couple, by legit auteur filmmakers, that were actually good).

I didn't understand how his intern got the menu to Neal. Wasn't he already gone when all those FBI agents were hanging around? And did he even tell her the menu was supposed to be given to Neal? Kind of dickish too for him to make her an accessory to aiding and abetting a fugitive. (If it were my daughter, I'd

It's not my favorite show by any means, but I give it a solid A-. Way way underrated (as is "The Newsroom", by critics though not so much by fans).

All I know is that you have now made me aware that I am the sort of person who literally laughs out loud at hoboes being tortured to death. Thanks for that!

The series of "Late Night" eps are my favorite, but for a single episode: "Bully".

"Bully" was my favorite until the "Late Night" arc came along.
