Omigod, when will the Kim overrating ever end? She made plenty of mistakes (being too candid at TC, unnecessarily risking alienating people) but just didn't pay for any of them because she was playing with and against such mental midgets.

Crosby was said to be his mom's pet.

I am with you—I thought this was one of the show's best episodes. Looking on Wikipedia, I find that it was written by Ian Deichtman & Kristin Rusk Robinson, who also penned the excellent "Speaking of Baggage". Hope they will return frequently, especially for Drew storylines!

Where did you find the pilot? I would love to watch it again.

Sheldon the most physically attractive of the bunch? Innnteresting. De gustibus…

I dunno…as I noted elsewhere in the comments, I subbed at our city's alternative high school. The school had two rooms (plus a bathroom) in a small space in a strip mall. There was one teacher and one "para" (aide), a couple computers, a few tables and chairs, a copier. Seemed like something you could set up in a

"Less than one year's time" sounds like quite a while to me.

I was a substitute teacher for several years and subbed in every building in the district. One of them, that many people didn't even know about, was the alternative high school. It was in a small rented storefront in a small strip mall, next to a CPA's office. There was one teacher, one "para" (aide), a few tables

But why aren't the writers making references to her? Seems clear they want to make people forget she ever existed.

That does not at all explain why they don't refer to her, pretend to be finishing a phone call with her or reading an email from her, etc.

That's a good point. I was just so disgusted with her since Drew is such a sweet guy who really liked Natalie but was treated as a throwaway by her until she faced competition.

As others said, how about a mention? A phone call showing only the Berkeley end?

Natalie became so eeeevil (but realistically so, making it even more diabolical and ire-inducing) this ep.

I thought it was worse than slight in being actively bad. But it seems that I have been lucky in that Louie has made most of his episodes for a minority of his fans, me included. Given that ratio, I'm surprised most of you stick with it for the occasional bone he throws in episodes like this. I would not be likely

Yeah, I was disappointed by that. I live equidistant from both Kansas City and St. Louis, and have spent plenty of time in Chicago and NYC, and I think KC is a pretty hip town. In a few weeks I will be going there to see Neutral Milk Hotel, so they at least were not affected by this kind of negative buzz.

Yes, although I speak French pretty well and it was difficult to make out, so some sort of French patois I would say.

Drew in both storylines reminds me a lot of me as a teenager, actually. So I love that they are portraying his/our type rather than the usual stereotype you are referencing.
