They started this ball rolling with Nixon. Every R pres(except MAYBE HW) since then is corrupt, a blithering idiot, or a celebrity with no interest in governing. They found all 3 rolled into one in Trump.

Our society rewards people with overconfidence and “charm” more than people who are hard working or good at what they do. The problem with overconfident charming people is that theyre often manipulative by nature so of course they manipulate every situation, even sexual ones.

Another example of our society’s double standard with news. If a “MSM” news org ran with a story half as crazy as accusing some rando classmate of being a rapist then there would be a national uproar. Fox News runs with it? Meh, nbd, just another day ending in y.

Pretty much this. Democrats and Republicans play by different rules. Dems hold their shitty party members accountable occasionally and at the very least, pretend not to be corrupt as fuck. Republicans dont give a shit at all. Pedo? Racist? Nazi? Criminal? Its all fucking dandy as long as rich people get their tax break…
