In another of that guy's 60s themed holoprograms, the cast has to pretend they're in a Broadway production in order to get X to solve Y.

I've always wanted to write a Mad Men/Benny Russell crossover, actually.
My profile! (Sigh).
Have we ever had a recurring Starfleet Intellegence officer?
… in all the times I've watched DS9, this one has flown over my head. Too bad I have but one like to give!
I am pretty sure we are meant to think the Dosi are a lot like the Gamma Q's Orions, so… not so sure.
I mean, we'll save it for next week but I think "Change" is one of Farrell's best moments on the show.
I really loathe Wrongs, but "Change of Heart" is intensely underrated.
I actually think the musical episode is one of DS9's great misses, because of all the casts, this one is the one talented enough not to make a horror show of it. Almost everyone in the main cast has significant Broadway or musical experience.
Agreed. This was a good show of his skills, because I've always found "Honor" to be a particularly weak episode that gets praised more than it deserves.
Spoilers, dude. I know nu!Disquis sucks, but let's try and keep Zack unspoiled.
I love "Waters of Mars" but the bleak, bleak ending of that one (TIME LORD VICTORIOUS) is undercut by the fact that it gets swept under the rug for a lot of unnecessary shit in the following regeneration episodes. "The End of Time" has nothing to do with "WoM"'s capping statement that it's likely the power to change…
It really blows because I mainly use AV Club for the comments section, and they've gone and gutted it.
The more I think about the ending, the more I agree with this.
I think not enough is said about how Josh is an extremely damaged individual, mentally and emotionally - and Amy is repeatedly implied to have a lot of the same damages. Had Sorkin gotten to stay and add her as a main cast member, as he wanted, I think it would have become clearer why they weren't really great for…
It's really difficult for me to talk about this right now because of spoilers.
Rowling's crappy worldbuilding skills ultimately ruin the entire series. It's unfortunate that most readers get so entranced by all the surface flim-flam she creates as misdirection that they don't notice how much none of it actually makes sense.
Actually, I thought Kya's reasons told us more about her character in a subtle way than anything we've been told so far.
I thought so. Plus there's that epic dance-off episode of NGE where they fight the angel in the bay.
No points for explaining the joke.
