I feel so sorry for his mother’s VaJayjay
Maybe so. But he was awesome on Miami Vice!
Shoot, I work for a company in Hollywierd that has Don’s ‘62 Coupe DeVille, Betty’s 63 Mercury wagon and the John Deere lawn mower*.
Probably here fault......
How many more Tom Clancy storylines are going to come to life?
Would enjoy buying popcorn at a movie version of his second book, “Red Storm Rising."
Why not give them to the Marines? They already fly the oldest F-18s. I’m sure their Maintenance Crews could keep the ‘Bolts in the air for years to come
Like Manny.....
As I was thinking about this more, I have yet another good reason for you to sell your 2005. Hopefully a young kid in their late teens or early 20's will buy it and will become the next generation of Jalopniks. We don’t need anymore people content with a self-driving/emotionless people mover straight out of Woody…
This is Jalopnik, not Consumer Reports. If you are in a position to get a car that won’t crush your monthly budget, and it makes you happy, buy something. Unless you’re Shirley McClain, you only live once
Sometimes, subsi, er, bribes, er,Graf’s work out for a city. What Coor’s Field did for downtown Denver has been fantastic. What Mile High/Invesco/Sports Authority (Both went bankrupt, which is another topic) did for the West side of town is a joke.
You don’t have to worry about a fire in a conversion van as you do at 35,000 feet. The seats must meet safety requirements for fires, crashes, and the changes in air pressure that affect everything over time. (Take a plastic bottle and watch it decompress during landing) Add the expense of updating interiors, most…
How about making seeds that can thrive on salt water? Maybe nothing humans eat, but vegetation to prevent fuel for fires or runoff from mudslides?
They could always ask Borman about Eastern Airlines
What team doesn’t screw, er, bend over a bar stool, er, oh Hell, what team doesn't?
My Land Cruiser and Dune Buggy are pretty stock. Well, as stock as a fiberglass shortened bug can be. But, I’m eye-balling a ‘68 Javelin and all I see is Mark Donohue’s Blue/White/Red rumbling down the street. It’s that or a ‘74 Charger in Petty Blue with Red stripes. I think the AMC would look more legit as a street…
The answer is not Miata, but Lexus. Toyota quality but excellent customer service from the dealership. In the snow belt, it’s the RX400 series SUV. Preferably the hybrid. In the rest of the country, a nice 10-15 year old LS will do nicely.
I’ve said that anyone over 50 that buys a new Land Cruiser should make sure its in their Will
I’ll stick with this, thank you. 300k and half the price. Drove it 6000 miles to RI and back to LA in December. No rattles and nothing fell off. Even has a similar green color and slightly better gas mileage
