Seriously, why hasn’t baseball incorporated a pro tracer like golf yet?

While Bud may not be a Hall of Famer, at least he’s helping many of today’s hitters get there.
Or that he needs more that five minutes.
I don’t think this is that rare of a thing, actually. I watch a lot of Nationals games, and I think Jonathan Papelbon must do it too, as players instruct him to ‘get fucked’ all the time.
Someone should get this shithead’s mugshot posted on this article ASAP!
Go figure.
I cannot imagine that 15 years ago any prifessional sports organization would have done this. There would have been an acknowledgement of the tragedy but mlb would not have put rainbows on their product. It's progress.
This is actually bringing tears to my eyes.
Into not hating people?
Wonderful, heartwarming stuff. +1
I was there. The pre-game ceremony was pretty powerful stuff.
I was there!
Being in attendance for this event was one of the best experiences I’ve ever had in my years as a Rays fan. To see the team, the community, the staff and players all come together the way they did was truly spectacular. It showed that Love does win.
I didn’t see this right away and I called Dr. Hern’s office to ask how I could donate money directly to the practice. I had a fifteen-minute conversation with Dr. Hern himself. In addition to being a hero, he is a very humble and cool guy.
This feeds the incredibly damaging narrative of “Good abortions vs. Bad abortions.” The whole point is that women should be allowed to access health care without having to prove they deserve it. The headlines isn’t click bait but it raises an interesting question : who are you to decide her decision oy to remain…
I was horrified by the title and then immediately realized it was misleading.
is there any way to donate to the clinic that performed it? even if it’s just going to fix the leaky roof, they deserve as much help as they can get for offering their services to women in situations like this.
Back when I was a sophomore in High School, I discovered that my mom’s 2009 Ford Flex key could unlock and start one of my school’s 2005ish GMC Savannah School Buses.
But wait, it gets worse. The keys were in a giant box, of which you could pick at any time, with no control whatsoever. In the 3 years I worked there, they lost over 300 sets. Out of around 900 employees, they had over 4,000 sets in circulation.
I’ve worked in a big city EMS service that had every single vehicle they owned keyed alike - all 200ish of them. Still have one of those keys around, and I tested it recently - it still works.
